Third person pov

Virgil is in the light side's guest room that they repainted half purple and half yellow. The border color is black. He hasn't been in this room for a year and a half. He goes into the bathroom and looks in the mirror. Why am I upset about him? He lied to me. Because......why he thinks. He walks back and forth in the small bathroom. Because you loved him. Loved? Virgil walks out of the bathroom.

The light sides work together to plan their deceased friend's funeral. In exactly two hours they will bury dolin. Logan and Roman worked together to find a spell to preserve his body. Virgil is in the guest room getting dressed. He wears a black suit with a black dress shirt underneath. His pocket square is yellow instead of his normal purple. The others wear similar suits with their respective colors as pocket square. Virgil walks into the hallway.

VIRGIL:Why should I play this game of pretend? Remembering through a secondhand sorrow? Such a great son and wonderful friend, Oh, don't the tears just pour

Virgil makes his way downstairs, the light sides aren't there yet.

VIRGIl:I could curl up and hide in my room, There in my bed, still sobbing tomorrow, I could give in to all of the gloom, But tell me, tell me what for

Virgil picks up a small framed picture of him and dolin that the others brought out for the funeral but it didn't make it on the memorial. Truth is Virgil took it off so he had something of his own.

VIRGIL:Why should I have a heavy heart? Why should I start to break in pieces? Why should I go and fall apart for you? Why should I play the grieving girl and lie, Saying that I miss you, And that my world has gone dark without your light? I will sing no requiem tonight

Somewhere else in the mind palace.

DEE:I gave you the world, you threw it away, Leaving these broken pieces behind you, Everything wasted, nothing to say, So I can sing no requiem

Back with the light sides, Roman is comforting virgil.

ROMAN:I hear your voice, I feel you near, Within, these words, I finally find you, And now that I know that you are still here, I will sing no requiem tonight

The light sides gather outside around the grave that read 'here lies Dolin Sanders February 3rd 1991 through May 2nd 2010 loving friend and partner" The sides carry the casket and place it down on the lift that will put him in the ground.

VIRGIL AND DEE: Why should I have a heavy heart?

VIRGIL: Why should I say I'll keep you with me? Why should I go and fall apart for you? Why should I play the grieving boy and lie,Saying that I miss you and that my world has gone dark without your light?

ROMAN: I can see your light

The lift lowers the casket into the ground.

Logan grabs the shovel and splashes dirt on the casket. Then Patton, Emile, Remy, Remus, Roman, Virgil.
