"How romantic," I state honestly and also sarcastic.

We both stand beneath the purple tree and admire the sight and sound of the waterfall.

I remove my glance from the waterfall to the perfect lay out that's perfectly designed for just Nathi and I.

Effortlessly I squat so I sit aimlessly on the flurry white blanket and smoothly my palms brush the soothing fabric.

"Everything you need is inside the warmer, sir."

I totally forgot about this guy. I smile at his direction as gesture to thank him, he smiles in return too.

"Thanks. That will be all," Nathi dismissively mutters.

I stare at Nathi as his body aimlessly collapses by my side.

"You like it?" he questions not meeting my gaze but placing his palms gently on my bump.

Like it? That's an understatement.
This place feels and looks like heaven and I can't help but feel overwhelmed by the new welcoming atmosphere.

I stare right opposite us where giants of gang sunflowers are grouped together. They bloom differently and the bright yellow of their colour just shows off their beauty in a more delicate way.

"I love it," I finally respond. With attempt to push my anger aside because of our encounter. I'd literally love to appreciate this moment, with ease and purity of love.

Our setting reminds me of the one I prepared for him back home though the only difference is the atmosphere and the perfection of everything.

"Strawberries?" he questions already guiding me to open my mouth as he holds the dipped chocolate strawberry inches away from my lips.

I open my mouth effortlessly but instead the taste doesn't reach my taste buds.

He laughs and I glare completely irradiated by his foolishness as he pops the strawberry into his mouth.

"That was not funny," I whine.

"But if you saw your face, you would have found it funny," he chuckles.

His laugh always settles tingles inside of me. It must be this pregnancy.

"What's in there?" I point at the warmer.

"Food. Greasy food for my lady," he smiles.

I opter to dish up for the both of us but he refuses and instead does the honours himself.

Immediately my tongue tingles from the saucy barbecue ribs I consume and a moan escapes my mouth and Nathi smiles.

"Next time I'll make sure we get greens instead," he teases.

As if he'd eat greens.

We both let the comfortable silence consume us as we mingle and feast on our food. It's peaceful and refreshing, we don't even try to exchange words but we both keep stealing glances at one another.

I'm still furious with him but something inside of me just needs his warmth.

I feast my fruit salad after we've finished our main course and oh Lord, even the fruit salad is mouthwatering.

"Enjoying?"

I nod with my mouth full.
He rotates his position and seats right beneath the edge of the blanket. I inhale deeply as he starts massaging my sloppy numb feet.

"Sthandwa Sam, I'm really sorry for not telling you anything about the article," he begins with sincerity in his raspy voice and I stare down at him, words denying the will to shower out when I realise the guilt that appears in his features.
