Keeyah's Point of View.

I can't remember what happened yesterday.

I wake up knowing na nagkalagnat ako. Pagkatapos nun tumayo ako at... at... hindi ko na maalala pa yung nangyari. Basta paggising ko takot na takot si Luke lumapit sa akin saka hindi nya ako kinakausap habang pinagdadrive nya ako papunta rito.

"Key!" sigaw ni Odette nang makalapit ako sa pintuan ng classroom. She hugged me tight and touched my forehead. "Maayos na ba pakiramdam mo?"

Tumango ako and I smiled. "I rest well."

"Mabuti naman at magaling ka na. Bibisitahin ka sana namin kaso hindi namin alam kung saan ka nakatira," sabi ni Lance.

Pumasok kaming tatlo no'ng pinatawag ako ng isa sa mga estudyante ni prof. Hylos sa kabilang section. Pinapatawag daw ako sa faculty room dahil gusto nya akong kausapin.

"Good morning po, sir," bati ko.

Nadatnan ko syang nagkakape as usual, looking so fat and normal. Pero naiba na yung suot nya, because he decided to open the buttons on his polo. Maybe he realized that it's really hard for him to breathe over those thin polos.

"Pinatawag nyo raw po ako?"

"Ah, yes. Please take your seat, Ms. Fletcher," may kinuha syang folder sa gilid ng kanyang desk. "This is the list of events. Sad to say, they extended the schedule for a month."

"A month?"

"Yes. Some of the contestants have different school time zones or whatever. May sasali kasi galing ibang bansa kaya the board decided to extend the date of events."

KALABAN KO GALING IBANG BANSA? KALOKA! So it's not just me na gustung-gusto makuha ang grand prize. Kailangan ko palang seryosohin ang labanan.

"I understand, sir," ngumiti ako at pinasadahan ng tingin ang faculty room.

I didn't see Ms. Moriette, sabagay, isang buwan ang palugit nya. Even Dreyson's not here.

"Mr. Flynn is in his class today. Fully loaded ang kanyang schedule ngayon, Ms. Fletcher," sabi nya bigla.

"W-Wala naman po akong sinasabi." Nagbow ako at agad na lumabas ng faculty room.

Nag-iinit na naman ang pisngi ko. How did he know about me and Dreyson? Wala bang sikreto sa faculty room ang hindi nabubunyag? Tsk.

I decided to go back to class and I can't stop thinking about what prof Hylos said. The contest schedule got extended for a month, because of some circumstances. Sa tingin ko, hindi basta-basta ang mga kalaban ko sa Taylor's Chalk. So I need to prepare my mind and body.

Natapos ang morning subjects ko. So Lance, me and Odette decided to grab some lunch outside the university. Palagi na lang kasing paulit-ulit yung putahe kaya nagsasawa na silang dalawa. Hindi rin ako maarte sa pagkain pero agree ako sa kanila so I decided to go as well.

Kotse ni Lance ang ginamit, besides malapit lang ang Mcdonald's dito sa university. I ordered what they ordered. Naalala ko tuloy si Rence dito. Napaka-epic nun e, kainis. Hindi ako makamove-on.
