Eleanor's POV

'No way!' Allison exclaims, I look around the small kitchen area to ensure that it's empty, 'You went on a date with Mr Andrews? You are officially the luckiest woman in East Hollow, how was it?'

'It was actually quite nice, he was more talkative and complimented me a lot' I shrugged, stirring the coffee in the mug once the machine had finished making it.

'That alone could probably make front page news, I didn't even think he knew what compliments were' she stated, her eyebrows raising as she placed her own mug in the machine and pressed the button, I giggled.

'I do feel quite lucky, but I don't know why he's developed a sudden interest in me'

She rolls her eyes, 'Because you're pretty and you work closely with him, he has never had a PA before so has never really got close to any other females... I think'

She grabs her mug and follows me out of the kitchen area and towards the elevator, 'Maybe, but there are a lot of pretty women in East Hollow and I don't think I stand out much compared to them, but it might be as you say that we have just worked closely together'

The elevator dings and Allison goes behind her desk and sets her mug of coffee down, I wave goodbye to her as I knock on James' office door. 'Come in' he calls out.

I enter and walk over to him, placing the mug of coffee on his desk, 'Thank you' he says, my eyebrow twitches in surprise at his gratitude.

'Um, you're welcome' I tell him and turn to leave.

---

Lunch time came around and Allison let me know that she had another meet up with Logan Fisher, and hurried out of the building. I grab my purse and stand to leave before my office door is opened, I jump slightly as James walks inside.

'I need you to do me a favour' he states, I nod quickly. 'I need you to go to my house and pick up some documents that I forgot in my office, you remember where that is right?'

'Um yes, I think so' I nod slowly.

'Good, I have booked a taxi that's waiting for you outside and will bring you back, I need them urgently before this afternoon's meeting and I am too busy to get them myself, you can go on your lunch when you return'

'Sure, that's fine' I take the keys from his hand as he reaches them out to me.

Just as I grab his house keys, his other hand comes up to grab my wrist, 'In the house, upstairs and straight to my office, they're the only files left on my desk, grab them then leave, do you understand?'

I nod quickly, 'yes, yes, of course' he releases my wrist and I shuffle past him and down the hallway to the awaiting elevator. I rub my wrist that he held a bit too tightly, what does he think I'm going to do? Rob his house?

I step out of the building and look around for the taxi, suddenly a loud beeping sounds, I look over to see a taxi parked a few meters away, the driver sticks his head out of the window, a cigarette dangling from his mouth, 'Get in Ms Bradley, Mr Andrews has given me a strict time limit' he shouts, his voice sounding rough.

I quickly run over and hop into the back, he rolls his eyes before pulling out into the road, he doesn't check his side mirrors and the car behind us almost hit us, it beeps and my taxi driver sticks his head out of his window again to shout profanities... this is going to be a long car ride, I think as I buckle my seatbelt.

We reach James' mansion quickly due to his dangerous driving, he turns to look at me after he parks, 'I have half my cigarette left, you have until I finish to get what you need and come back lady, I won't get paid if we are late'

'Ok' I nod, and quickly exit the taxi, I walk up to the large gates that surround his mansion, I stare down at the keys to see a small circular fob, I press it agains the keypad and it beeps before prompting me to enter a numerical password.

My phone beeps with a message from James: Your birthday. I frown before typing in my birthday, the gate buzzes before slowly rolling open, well this just got stranger, why is his home password my birthday.

I hurry up to the large front door and unlock it, his house is just as grand and clean as the last time that I was here, I want to look around some more but I remember that my time is limited. I jog up the stairs and follow what I remember from the last time I was here, after accidentally opening the door to a large bathroom, I successfully locate his office. I smile as I see the files on his desk, I grab them before exiting his office again.

As I shut the office door behind me, I hear a thud from a room for down the hallway, my eyebrows pull together, I thought the house was empty? I walk slowly and quietly towards it, it came from the very last room in the hallway. The end of the hallway had a large window that looked out to the front of the house where I could see the taxi was still waiting for me, just a quick look won't hurt, right?

I press my ear against a closed door and can barely make out some shuffling in the room, maybe it's a cleaner, or his mother or sister. I reach for the handle and twist it, it clicks and the door slowly opens, I hear more frantic shuffling from inside the room.

I suddenly squeal as a loud car horn sounds from outside, in fright I slam the door shut again and turn to stare out of the hallway window, the taxi driver has his hand firmly pressed against his horn, I see him throw his cigarette butt onto the floor, I need to go.

I run back down the stairs and out the front door, not forgetting to lock it behind me. I run down the driveway and press the button for the gate to shut behind me, 'Finally! I thought you got lost in there' the driver yells as he starts the engine. I hop in the back, clutching the folders gently as he once again pulls out without checking his mirrors.

As we begin to drive off I turn back to look at James' mansion, I gulp as I see the shadow of a figure standing at the hallway window where I just was. I was definitely not alone in the house, and even though there may be a reasonable explanation to another person being there, seeing the shadow at the window now is giving me an eerie feeling, as if it was someone I was not supposed to see.

---

I knock on James' office door and he calls for me to enter, I smile as I walk over to give him the files and his house keys back, 'Thank you Eleanor'

'That's alright, I'll be going on lunch now' I tell him, he nods as he turns back to his computer.

'Also' he calls out to me just as I am halfway out the door, I glance back at him, he's now staring straight at me, 'next time you hear a noise, don't go to investigate'

I gulp before stiffly nodding, I exit his office and close the door... I need to tell Oliver about this.
