Eleanor's POV

'Thank you very much, I don't know what I would have done without you' I say, smiling kindly at the men I hired to help me move all of my furniture from the old town that I grew up in to my new home in East-Hollow, the men had spent the last couple of hours carrying around furniture that was much too heavy for me to carry myself into my new house and being very patient as I told them where to put it before changing my mind about the furnitures positioning and having them move it all around again, but we have finally finished and all that is left now is for me to unpack. I wave goodbye to the men before shutting the front door and turning to my new home with a smile, I giggle excitedly at the thought of me starting my own new life here in East-Hollow.

I was previously living with my parents but decided to move out in pursuit of the new job that I had been offered over here, at first they weren't too happy with their only child moving almost two towns away from them but they had refused to move from my childhood home that they had built together, so after much persuasion and the promise of visiting them atlas every two weeks, they finally allowed me to move out, aged twenty-three.

Walking into my new kitchen, I cut open one of the boxes and begin filling the cupboards and drawers with cutlery, dishes and other kitchen appliances, trying to make the modern kitchen with a marble worktop look as aesthetically pleasing as I possibly could.

It took me four hours to finish unpacking every single box that I had in the house, by now I had worked up a sweat and decided to open a couple of windows to allow the fresh air to circulate within my new home, it's now twelve in the afternoon and I have finished collapsing all of the cardboard boxes. I pick them all up, and open the front door, heading down to the recycling bin at the entrance of my front garden, apparently the recycling is going to be collected tomorrow morning.

I shove the cardboard boxes into the green bin, using my foot to push them in as far as they could go before slamming the lid down, I turn to go back into the house but a man standing on the pavement just in front of my front garden makes me jump. I stand still staring at him as he stand still staring back at me, he is about a head taller than me with brown hair that falls into his deep brown eyes, round glasses sit on his nose without making him look nerdy, he is wearing a plain white shirt and slightly baggy blue jeans, he looks to be the same age as me.

Maybe he is a neighbour? I smile and bring my hand up to wave at him but he doesn't even move a muscle, he keeps staring at me, never breaking eye contact and hardly blinking. Slowly I bring my hand down as my smile begins to fade, suddenly, the man turns and stars walking down the pavement, past my house and past my neighbour's house, he continues all the way to the end of the road before disappearing out of sight, eye eyebrows furrow in confusion, what's wrong with him?

'Good morning miss' a voice calls, I jump again as I turn to look a boy who looks around eighteen wearing a bright red t-shirt and a bright red bag slung lazily over his shoulder, he's a postman 'I have your weekly newspaper' he walks down my drive and stops in front of me, a newspaper in his hand.

I take it from him, thanking him. 'You must be the new person who just moved in, this house has been for sale for about a month, it's nice to meet you, do you live alone?'

'It's nice to meet you too, yes it's just me here' I respond as he grins at me, he nods before waving goodbye and exiting my driveway, I watch him walk into the neighbour's driveway and pushing another newspaper through their letter box. I turn and walk back into my house, closing the front door behind me and heading into the living room.

I read the cover story headline 'Another Hospital Victim Shot Dead' I frown at the word 'Another' does that mean that there has been a lot of people shot dead in the hospital? I heard that there was a local hospital hear in East-Hollow that was especially for people who were found to be crazy, but why are they getting shot? Is someone murdering them? But how did anyone get into the hospital with a gun? And how did no one hear the gun shot and not know who it is? Do they not have CCTV?

I put the newspaper down and decide to go out to eat instead, I still have to prepare myself for my first day of work tomorrow, I have plenty of shopping to do as well as finding out the route that I have to take tomorrow for work, I don't want to show up late on my first day simply because I didn't know where to go. Picking up my car keys, I head out of my house and to the nearest shopping centre, I'm going to relax this afternoon and call my parents to let them know how I'm getting on, I may be too busy to do that tomorrow once I have started working.
