Chpater 3: I'll Be Okay

*Beep* *Beep* I slammed my fist down on my alarm clock and rolled out of bed. Since I was still in a pretty good mood from my night with Noya, I decided to wake up early and for the first time, get breakfast ready for Tobio and I, instead of Tobio begging me to eat.

After getting dressed in my uniform and going through my usual morning skincare routine, I headed downstairs to the kitchen.

I decided to make a basic breakfast, but something I was comfortable with eating. I set up two frying pans. In one I was making scrambled eggs and the other I was frying bacon for Tobio. Then I stuck a few pieces of multigrain bread in the toaster.

Just as I was dishing up our food, Tobio groggily stumbled downstairs. "Are you making breakfast, chibi-chan?" he asked surprised.

"Yup! I've got a plate of eggs, bacon and toast for you," I said cheerfully.

He just stood there and stared at me rubbing his eyes. "Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" He asked seriously, but sat down at the table to eat with me anyways.

"I'm not sure... I just happened to have a good night," I said with a smile.

*Tobio's POV*

I wonder what the hell happened with her and Nishinoya last night. I've never seen her this at ease before. Even if she doesn't show it, I can tell she's always tense and on edge.

I watched as Y/N plopped a small pile of scrambled eggs and a piece of toast on her plate. It's not a lot of food, but it's more than her usual breakfast of nothing.

Curious, I pulled my phone out of my pocket to text Nishinoya. I opened our messages and a light smile snuck onto my face seeing the photo of Y/N eating ice cream.

Y/N woke up early
Made breakfast
And is unusually cheerful

I hope that had something to do with me ;)
But isn't she normally cheerful

Not in the morning
Did something happen

But she told me
About her eating disorder
I promise I won't tell
And I'll support her too

Wow. I can't believe she told him. She doesn't trust anyone other than me with such personal information. Also, I gotta figure out how he got her to eat so easily. If it means she'll eat, maybe I should let them spend more time together even if he is a bit pervy.

I finished up the meal Y/N made and finished getting ready for school. I got downstairs to find my sister jumping up and down, "Let's go. Let's go. Let's go," she cheered. I just chuckled, rolled my eyes, and tousled her hair.

By the time lunch came around, the bell rang and Y/N bolted out of the room. What the hell was that all about? I decided to just let it go, until half an hour passed by and she never came back.

Feeling panic rise within me, I walked over to her bag to see the bento box I packed her for lunch still there. Okay. Now I know something is up. I rushed out of the classroom to search for her. I sent a quick message into the volleyball club's group chat, asking if anyone has seen Y/N within the last half hour.
