*Akaashi's POV*

Her eyes shuttered closed. Her breathing gradually slowed. Her body felt frail and limp in my arms. I don't know why she passed out, but right now it is my duty to get her to safety first. I'll learn the details later.

Realizing there were NO authority figures on campus, this honestly had to be THE worst possible night for the coaches to go out for drinks. That meant it was MY responsibility and my responsibility only to get her to safety.

Scrambling my mind for ideas, I picked through my brain.

Where do I take her?
The emergency room?
This is definitely an emergency, right?

Luckily for little Y/N, I can drive.

But do I go alone?
Should I bring someone with me?
If so, who?
Do I know someone reliable enough?

Bokuto - Definitely not.
Kuroo - reliable, but too emotionally invested.

Think. Think. Think.

Ah!
Karasuno.

Her brother - No. Definitely would go berserk...
Who else do I know?
...
...
That's it!
I know just the person to call!

I hurried back to our team's bedroom to fetch my car keys. As I knelt down in front of my bag, I situated Y/N on my lap and removed the arm from under her legs, but still supporting her upper half. With my one free hand, I frantically fished through my bag. Got it. I looped the keychain around my middle finger and pulled out my phone as well. I quickly scrolled through my contacts and pressed on the name I was looking for. Letting it start to ring, I balanced the phone between my ear and my shoulder, then hooked my, once again, free arm back under Y/N's legs and stood up.

As I walked out the bedroom door, the receiver picked up. "Akaashi?" the voice questioned in confusion.

"Suga," I stated monotonously. "Meet me in the parking lot. This is an emergency," and that's all I said as I hung up abruptly. Why did I call Sugawara you ask? Well I met him a few weeks ago at the last training camp. He seemed to manage the team well and was a reliable teammate. He also seemed to look out and care for this dark and blonde haired girl passed out in my arms. He was my best bet to call.

I lifted my chin and let my phone slide down to my bent elbow pressed against my chest. I exited the school and arrived at the somewhat empty parking lot. Not long after, I heard shrieks coming up behind me, gradually getting louder as the person drew closer.

"My baby crow!" Sugawara shouted. "What happened to her," his voice breathless with a touch of pain. Okay, maybe I should've reconsidered my options, but I didn't have much time to make a decision on who to bring. To be fair... if this was Bokuto who passed out, I probably would have had the same reaction as Suga...

"She became really dizzy and collapsed while we were practicing, then she blacked out completely. We have to get her to the emergency room immediately," I explained quickly.

The red faced, panting Sugawara speed walked with me to my car. I unlocked the doors and asked, "Should we lie her down across the back?"

"I'm not sure how safe that'd be... Do you think I can just rest her in my lap. We can't really get in trouble if it's an emergency," Suga replied.

I gave a single nod in approval and carefully handed Y/N off to him. He sat down with Y/N in the passenger seat and swiftly strapped the seatbelt across the both of them. I plopped down in the drivers seat next to them and started the car. I glanced over at the two before backing out out of the parking lot. By the look on his face, I think he knows why she blacked out. It was a mixed look of sadness and concern and worry. He gently stroked her hair continuously and cradled her close to his chest as he desperately tried to push down the strong emotions he was feeling.

We'll get her there safely. She'll be okay. I can tell she won't give up too easily.

*Kuroo's POV*

"Bokuto." The petrified boy whipped his head around to face me. "We need to inform her brother and the libero."

The usually talkative, energetic ace was silent now, but gave me a soft "mmph" as a sign of acknowledgement.

We exited the gym and rounded the corner to the larger gym that most of Karasuno was practicing in. As we approached the doors to the gym, there was faint screaming echoing from the direction of the parking lot, followed by a car revving it's engine to life.

As we stepped into the new gym and flickered our eyes around the bustling room, I announced to Bokuto, "I'll grab the Noya kid."

In response, he replied, "I've got the scary setter dude," and with that, we split off in opposite directions to retrieve the boys.

"Nishinoya," I called out sternly as I spotted the boy practicing sets against the wall.

He whipped his head around to face me. His expression dropped as soon as he saw the seriousness in my face. "What do you want," he spat, then turned back around to continue practicing.

"This is no time to fight. Your girlfriend is in trouble," I informed him. As soon as he heard the mention of his girlfriend, he immediately caught the ball and spun around on his heels to face me.

"Bring me to her now," he commanded harshly, tossing the ball to the side.

Nishinoya marching behind me, we met back up with Kageyama and Bokuto. Kageyama looked terrified. His face was pale as a ghost and looked to be on the verge of tears. He was possibly even shaking as if his biggest fear just rose to life.

Okay. Now where did Akaashi take Y/N.

As if on cue, my phone rang. I checked the caller ID. Akaashi. I picked up. "Hey Akaashi, where are you guys?" I asked.

I was surprised to hear Sugawara's voice respond on the other end of the line, "We're taking her to the nearest emergency room. Are you joining us?"

"Yeah, I'll take owl boy, libero, and frightening brother in my car. Can't promise their safety, but I'll get them there," I responded.

Silence.

Did the line go dead?

"Hello? Sugawara?"

"Are you sure you can drive?" He asked nervously. "We don't need any more incidents."

"They'll be fine. I'll take care of them. Promise," I reassured the silver haired setter before hanging up.

I glanced around our small group. We all stayed silent. I just motioned my head out the gym door, indicating for them to follow me to my car.

I took one last peek at their miserable faces before hopping in the car.

You'll see her soon enough.
