*Y/N's POV*

For the rest of training camp, all of Karasuno - no - all of Karasuno AND Fukurodani AND Nekoma AND their coaches, looked after me, giving me the proper care and attention I needed. I literally never had any time alone. They were constantly making sure I drank water, prohibiting me from running penalty laps, and barely allowing me to do anything more than just sit back and watch their matches.

Coach Ukai, noticing my menacing, depressed aura, allowed me to assistant coach with him during games, ultimately giving me SOMETHING interesting to do. Also, lucky for me, Bokuto, Kuroo, and Akaashi still let me play with them after the practice matches if I "behaved well" all day. Oh yeah... and most annoyingly... It has been a few days since we've returned home. Over that time frame, Sugawara, Tobio, and Yuu have been taking their training course to learn to become 'meal supports.' Today was the first day they were officially certified.

However, Tobio had to meet Hinata bright and early, before it got too hot outside to practice their new combo with elder Ukai. Afterwards, to my surprise, even though it's summer, him and Hinata were planning on getting tutor sessions to get a head start on studying to avoid any reoccurrence of the previous training camp.

As for Yuu, well we haven't exactly worked things out yet, but we've been busy since coming back home. As for today, I couldn't see him because he had to attend a 50th birthday party for his aunt.

So that leaves us with Sugawara, who in fact, was free today. All. Day. Today.

I checked the address on the house against the one in my text messages with Suga and rang the door bell. I heard some shuffling from the other side of the door. Not long after, the door swung open, revealing a wide smiled, way too chipper for 8:30 in the morning, silver haired Sugawara.

I tightened my grip around the straps of my backpack. "Good morning," I greeted him, unenthusiastically, peering at him through only the slits of my drooping eyelids.

He pulled me into his arms briefly for a quick hug. Feeling the comfort of his chest only made me sleepier.

He opened the door wider, "Here. Come on in. Breakfast is almost ready." His smile never wavered as he spoke, despite the slight attitude I was giving him.

I followed him into his cozy home and plopped myself down in a random seat at their dining room table.  He had told me earlier that his parents would be at work all day, so I wouldn't have to worry about anyone else accompanying us while we ate.

I sat and watched as he dished out a serving onto my plate. Excuse me, no, a much larger serving then I would normally have, onto my plate. My assigned dietitian set up a meal plan for me with serving sizes and food categories I had to complete. But looking at it now... it was definitely much more than I had expected and breakfast was supposedly the smallest meal of the day too.

Sugawara dished out the same amount for himself and began eating. I just stared at the food on my plate, my eyes never leaving it.

"Y/N-Chan" Suga spoke softly. "Look at me, please." I obeyed his orders and pried my eyes off the taunting mound of food. "Can you tell me what thoughts are going through your head right now?"

"I don't feel hungry," I responded dismally.

Suga didn't believe me for a second, "Okay. What's really going through your mind?"

I sighed. "I don't normally eat this much breakfast. Plus, I'm anxious just thinking about the rest of the day, knowing I have more meals I have to eat." I groaned. "I also don't need you babysitting me all day. I'm a high schooler and I can take care of myself," I complained like a whiney child.

"Do I look like a babysitter to you?" he asked sassily, quirking an eyebrow at me.

"Yes," I replied honestly.

"Am I changing your diapers? Am I putting you down for naps? I don't think so!" he raised his voice ever so slightly, heated over the conversation.

Honestly, I was just trying to avoid eating by causing a commotion... tehe he hasn't caught on yet.

"Maybe not, but I do feel like I am being treated like a child. Being forced to eat. Needing constant attention. Watching me all day so I don't do anything reckless," I narrowed my eyes at him.

Not missing a beat, he narrowed his eyes right back at me, "Don't think I don't know what you're doing. Now stop stalling and eat your breakfast," he spoke forcefully, pointing his fork at me and continuing to glare. BUSTED.

I picked at my food, mostly just pushing it around the plate rather than eating it. Sorry. I'm just not used to eating a full meal in the mornings.

My picking was interrupted by Suga clearing his throat. I looked up to meet his hazel eyes. In a fake motherly voice, he spoke, "Y/N-Chan... why don't we try taking normal sized bites like a big girl, hmm?" Damn, I must have hit a nerve calling him my babysitter. Reminder: Apologize to Suga later when I'm not being a hangry bitch. I feel so bad. I'm definitely not making this easy on him.

*Sugawara's POV*

Y/N finished half her breakfast and tapped out. She placed her head on the table next to her half empty plate, snuggling her face into the crook of her arm, not moving in the slightest. I sympathized with her. I so desperately wanted to rush to her side, tell her she did a great job with her meal, and comfort her with a hug. But I needed to be strict. I needed her to push herself and finish as much of her meal as possible.

So I decided to throw in a compromise.

"How about this, take a few more large bites and we can go for a light walk after cleaning up. How does that sound? Reasonable?" I offered.

"Fineeeee!" her groan muffled through her arms. Lifting her head, blonde hair sticking to her face, she stabbed another chunk of food.

She managed about four more large bites, before surrendering.

Taking our plates away to clean up, I glanced at her miserable face, pouting like a child.

Damn. Looks like I am a babysitter.

*A/N: SUGAMAMAAAAAA!!! 🥰

Sorry for inserting so many pictures but like this is what came to mind.
(In addition to my drawing of Suga and author-Chan)

Also lmao I'm taking it so easy on Y/N. In recovery you aren't allowed any exercise, especially someone with this much nutrition deficiency. Also, if you finish >50% but <100% of your meal, you have to drink a boost supplement. >50% incomplete and you have to drink two supplements. (choose vanilla. Always choose vanilla. Chocolate and strawberry are no bueno)

Give this chapter a vote if you love your feisty Sugamama <3
