Chapter 10

*Connor Franta Perspective*

We get home around the time when the sun sets. And let me tell you one thing. It looks damn pretty. I get out of the car and just stand and stare at it, admiring its beauty. After getting out of my little trance I get back into the house and see my moms already inside. She in the kitchen getting out a frozen pizza from the fridge.

"Hey Connor. Listen I know we just came back but my work needs me to come in because someone's sick so I need to fill in. I won't be home until tomorrow morning around 6:00 am so right now I'm making you frozen pizza for dinner."

"Alright when do you leave?"

"Um.. Let me check my watch." She looks down at her wrist and pulls up her sleeve to take a look.

"Five minutes. So I'm going to go upstairs change into work clothes and leave quickly because I can't be late. Love you sweetie."

"Love you too."

I go upstairs to my room and shut the door. I plop on to my bed closing my eyes just thinking about what will happen tomorrow. You see in the car I realized that if I want Sarah to fall for me, I need to do things for her, like take her out places. So I decided that for our last day here before we go to Hollywood I'm going to take her out for frozen yogurt. The problem is I don't have her number so I have to go over to her house. That's another thing. I don't know where this girl lives either.

I get up and sit up properly trying to think of the who could know where she lives. Thinking of a person suddenly a light bulb goes off in my head.

"Mom!" I yell while I'm walking down the stairs. Hopefully she didn't leave yet.

"Right over here." I turn around and see that shes in front of the door with her car keys in her hands.

"Can you tell me where Aurelia lives?"

"Sure... but why do you need to know?"

"I need to tell her something."

"Ok but I hope your not lying to me like right now you could be going to some party with people who are overly drunk."

"Of course not. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't even tell you."

"Connor!" She laughs and tells me what street Aurelia lives in and what lot number. It's a little far from here so I decide to take my car. When I get outside its already a dark purple blue color which surprised me because just a few minutes ago the sun was setting. Because of that it started to get a bit more chilly so I bought a jacket with me and a beanie.

While I'm driving I think if this is really ok. I mean I'm coming to her house with even being invited and who knows if she's even home. I finally get to her house after a thoughtful car ride and park the car. As I'm holding onto the door handle to get out my phone starts ringing. I check the caller ID and see its someone that I haven't talked to in about a week and right now I'm just not in the mood to talk to her.

It was Faith.

I just let it ring and ring until it stops, and when it does it starts all over again. I finally decide to pick it up and see what she wants.

"Connor! Why haven't you told me your going to Hollywood? Why am I not invited? But especially why are there rumors going around that were dating?"

"Why hello to you too."

"Connor answer my questions!"

"Fine. I haven't told you I'm going to Hollywood because it's not even important for you to know. Your not invited because I'm inviting my better friends, Aaron and Corbin. There important people in my life unlike you who is just someone I talk to."
