Today was the day of my grand opening. I'm extremely excited. Dave unfortunately can't come he's gone on a business trip which made me mad at him when he first told me but I understand work is work and money has to be made.
He left four days ago he said he couldn't tell me where because he has this idea in his head that the more I know the more at risk I am which terrifies me for him because he's at the front of it all. Yeah he has cover ups like his clubs and bars but I can only hope and pray he's safe when he does all the illegal things.
I pray everyday for him and my whole family. I now somewhat understand my mom. All her sleepless nights when my dad would be out. I shook my head removing the thoughts from my head.
I grabbed my things before walking out of my apartment. It's 5pm but the opening will be at 6pm so by the time I get there everything can get started. —
I pulled into the parking lot of the back of the- my building and sat in the car for a minute seeing friends and family go in bringing a smile to my face.
I got out of my car making my way inside. Walking in I saw everything perfectly done and ready.
