Everyone has their own partners. The partners that was different from them yet still close.

Thunderstorm and Cyclone. In terms of personalities, one shows anger while the other shows happiness.

Blaze and Ice. Just hearing their names already shows how different these two are. Polar opposites for real.

Thorn and Solar. By powers, they're more like a combination as the photosynthesis duo is what they called. By personalities, one is naive and the other is smart.

During their manifestation, it was clearly they were manifested to have a polar opposites of themselves. Indicating, a partner. They maybe were opposites from each other and clearly would bark each other head's off, but their bond between each other were strong.

They were seven elementals.

Only one elemental didn't have a partner.

The leader.

Quake glanced at Blaze who was doing a magic trick in front of Ice. It was more like Blaze juggling balls of fire in the air and Ice having a headache because he knows he will have to extinguish them. Still, he let the fire elemental have his way since stopping him would result a burnt down house.

They didn't want Quake's wrath.

As Blaze continuing on juggling and Ice lazily lied on his water bubble, Quake watched them from afar. He carried a basket of dry clothes and was planning to fold them. Blaze's loudness caught his attention.

Feeling envy, Quake sighed and walked inside the house. He tried shaking the feeling off. Weird. Why did he felt jealous? He didn't feel lonely since he would have to mother everyone in the house everyday despite Thunderstorm being the eldest.

He noticed another sound and glanced on his left side, witnessing Cyclone cheerfully dragged Thunderstorm in the living room. Thunderstorm being grumpy glared at the wind elemental before sighing in defeat. Cyclone wanted to watch a movie and dragged Thunderstorm for company. Thunderstorm wouldn't have mind, if Cyclone didn't turn on a horror movie to watch.

Quake smiled gently, shaking his head. He let them use the living room and decided to use his room to fold the clothes. Besides, he didn't want to get scare jumps while doing his chores and witnessing Thunderstorm's screaming. For a grumpy guy, he sure couldn't stand any terrifying things.

Still, Quake wondered. If Cyclone and Thunderstorm would invite him to join. He admits, in everyone, he was closest with the two of them considering the three have been together the longest than the rest. However, he knew that Cyclone and Thunderstorm were closer and he could never step in that circle.

Again, a tint of envy filled him.

Sighing, he walked into his room. Unlike everyone else, he got his own room while the rest had to share rooms. Thunderstorm and Blaze were jealous, they wanted their own rooms too. Solar was the most jealous because if he had his own room, he could do many experiments without disturbing anyone. Not that he minds Thorn sharing a room with him, but he couldn't stay up too late since Thorn would always dragged him to sleep.

For Quake, it was the opposite. He longed for someone to understand him. For someone to be his partner and do many stuff with him.

Even in his room, through the windows, he could see Thorn watering his plants as Solar sat besides him, reading a book. Even though Solar was keen on reading, he and Thorn still exchange some words and Thorn beaming as he put a sunflower crown at Solar's head.
