I'm sorry I published this chapter a bit later then usual, I know I usually upload on Sunday's but didn't have my laptop with me all day so I couldn't...- actually that was the part where your usually supposed to say 'no that's not true... deep down you're very important to me' and I go like 'awww that's so sweet, your very important to me too'.
- Ok maybe you are a little tiny bit kind of important to me. And if that makes you happy, we can say that that is why i'm helping you, but i'm just curious about all this magic stuff, i mean, who wouldn't be?
- i guess that's fair.
-------------------------
Before we knew it more then one hour had passed, and it was really obvious that Emily didn't go out to the bathroom. I think instead of talking about random stuff we should have worried about what we were going to tell our parents.
- we were worried! if you guys wanted to take a walk together you should have just told us! why did you have to lie about it??
- And sense when do you two take walks? not that there is anything wrong with that part.
our dad's exclaim with a small smiles creeping through their mouths at the thought of me and Emily starting to create some kind of friendship. witch we kind of are I guess, but its really not what they're thinking.

Emily p.o.v
- Please mom! cant i just stay at home? i'm so tired!
- No Emily! your coming, get your lazy ass dressed. We are not having this conversation again. Madison's parents want to introduce us to some foreigners friends of there's. They also have a kid your age! don't you want to meet her?
- not really...
- Just get dressed ok?
- fine.
I bet this is going to be a waste of time, I might as well get some reading done. I put on some blue ripped jeans and black t-shirt, get my book and my phone and get out the front door, following my parents outside.
We get out at the same time as the wheelers, and our parents quickly engage in conversation while me and Andrew pretty much ignore each other.
Even tho Madison lives just above us i'm to tired to go up the stairs. Apparently Andrew is feeling lazy too because he steps in the elevator right after me.
I click on the 5th floor button, and we awkwardly stare at each other.
- your t-shirt is ugly.
Andrew says, almost uncertainly.
I look down at my t-shirt and almost start laughing, he surely must've though he hadn't insulted me for to long.
- its a plain black t-shirt! what can be ugly about it?
He shrugs with his shoulders, I've had enough of this, if he wants to talk to me he doesn't have to start it with an insult, even a really stupid and harmless one.
- Are you like, incapable of saying anything nice?
- No, i'm incapable of lying.
- oh you are more then capable of lying, you do it all the time! why do you have the urge to make me feel bad! we were actually getting along really well!
- sense when? sense we almost got killed by a water alligator and you cried like a baby for hours?
what a little bitch.
- A WHAT??
We turn around to see a very confused Madison looking at us and the elevator doors closing in our faces.
- see what you've done? Now i have to spend more time with you in this small space, and Madison heard us!
I shout, as the elevator starts to go down to the lobby.
I can't believe i actually started to think we might be able to become friends some day!
- its not my fault you talk to much!
- I cant believe this...
When we arrive at the bottom floor the doors open to a reveal men and his daughter who looks our age, there is something weird tho, the men he looks kind of... transparent... must be lack of sleep.
I stop myself from staring further and instead focus on the girl, she has thin straight black hair and she looks as pale as the moon.
- what floor are you going to? - she asks.
- fifth.
- oh us too!
An awkward silence fills the elevator, I bet this girl can sense the daggers me and Andrew are throwing at each other through our eyes.
In no time were back up and all of us get out of the elevator, with our parents looking disappointed and Madison right in front of us, ready to explode, but she refrains herself when she sees the girl.
- We can't even leave you two alone together in an elevator for 5 seconds...
My mother says, not acknowledging the presence of the other two people.
- oh hello there! Emily, Andrew, this is Nia, and this is her father Ram, they are from Thailand. -Madison introduces like a true hostess.
wait isn't it like super hot and sunny in Thailand? why does this girl look like she hasn't seen the sun in years?
We all follow Madison inside the house while she gives us discrete angry looks.
Madison's house is very modern, most of the house is white and glass, they really did a good job in decorating it with futuristic paintings and framed photographs in every corner.
I go to the living room to find Dan, i can't avoid him any longer... i already ran away from him at the beach and ignored all of his texts, i have to tell him... something.
I slowly sit next to him and let him know i'm there with a light tap of the shoulder, when he finally turns around from his phone and looks at me I take a deep breath, mentally preparing for all the questions he is going to ask me, it takes me some time to get that he isn't looking at me, but instead his gaze is on Nia.
- what's wrong Dan? you look like you've just seen a ghost.
- that's the girl we saw in your bedroom
