Josephine's Pov
My alarm goes on waking me up and I stretch my arms and legs with the eyes still closed and then I literally fall on the floor.
I open my eyes and then I realize that I fell asleep on the sofa watching StartsWars.
Luckily, last night, after dinner I cleaned up the kitchen. I hate leave the things messy. I'm a clean maniac. I also love organize things and messiness makes me go out of my mind.
I stand up from the floor massaging my butt and after I look at outside, It's windy and grey.
I immediately go to take a hot shower while I'm thinking about what to say to Christian Harper.
He is a really good family friend to me and my family but I really want to make a good impression at the "interview" of today. I know that it's not a real interview, he already guaranteed that he is going to assume me after the trail month but I wanna deserve that job and not be there because I'm like a daughter to him.
I really care about this job. I mean, it's so unbelievable to me that I'll be paid to read stories and give my opinion about it.
After the shower I wrap the towel around my body and hair and I go to my bedroom to pick an outfit.
I don't want to be too elegant but not too comfy.
So I grab a light blue handmade sweater and a black high waisted skinny jeans.
I put some make up. I choose some mascara, blush, highliter and chapstick on my lips.
I curl my hair but I don't know how much they're going to least because of the weather outside.
I'm so indecisive about what to wear at my feet. I can't wear my Air Force. I can't. So I grab my black boots.
When I'm ready I put my agenda and the files that I have to give them in my bag and after I put on the jacket and walk out.
When I step out of the building a really cold wind hits my face and hair making them so massy. Fantastic.
I walk to the nearest underground.
Fortunately I got the Oyster Card yesterday so I don't have to waste my time today.
I ask for some information about the line that I have to take, I don't want to get the wrong one and be late at the interview.
The underground is so big and dispersive but I'm sure that I'll learn quickly about the lines.
When I'm finally in the right one, I sit in an untaken seat. Take the metro is a bit uncomfortable for me but I just keep my mind occupied replying to the text messages from my family that are all wishing me a good morning and a good luck.
When I'm finally out from the underground I notice that the sky is even darker now and I realise that I forgot to take an umbrella.
God please don't make it rain, not before the interview. You can make it happen after but not now. I can't walk in his office literally soaking wet.
Thanks to God I arrive to the building all dry.
When I'm finally few steps from the entrance I stop for a second and I rise my face to the sky.
God this is not a building, is a skyscraper.
I shake my head to let go every type of thoughts and I look a the time on my watch.
I'm 40 minutes early. He said that he wanted to meet me in his lunch break so I can't walk in yet.
I look around and helping myself with my phone I find a really cute coffe shop.
I order and pay for a hot cappuccino and then I take place in one of the circular and wooden tables.
It's so cute here. I think if Kath was her she would love it here.
"Josephine?" the girl at the counter calls my name so I jump off the chair.
"Yes." I say and then I take the big white mug.
"Thank you." I say smiling at her.
"Enjoy it." she says kindly and after she aim her eyes on the next costumer.
When I'm back at my table I take a photo of the mug that's bigger than my face and send it to my sister Katherine. We're big lovers of coffee.
It's a drug for us.
Once I finished the heavenly coffee I go to give the mug back.
"Here it is." I say and she smiles at me.
"Oh thank you. So kind." she says smiling back to me.
"Have a great day." I say and when I turn back my body collides with another.
