fourty: "Like a movie"

Josephine's Pov

The waitress takes our orders and I take advantage of that, to put my phone in silence mode. Tonight nobody have the right to interrupt our night.
"So tell me more about you... You already know so much about me. You also met my sister and my mom, now you just have to meet my brother." he says laughing.
"And your dad." I say but then his eyes get darker and my smile disappears. His jaw clench and his chest gets bigger, sign that he is taking a deep breath.
Oh fuck. Did I just ruined the mood?
"To be honest I don't have a really good relationship with him. My mom divorced with him eight years ago. He wasn't that present as a father." he says with a lower voice tone like he's trying his best to not let it crack.
I feel the need of touch him so I place my hands on his and rub my thumb on his knuckles.
His eyes immediately points at it.
I can see how hurt he is, I can't say that I understand him because my dad was very present during my childhood and still despite his job.
"I'm so sorry Hero about your father but I can assure you that your mom is such a badass. She raised three kids with a non present father figure and she did an amazing job with you and I'm sure with also you brother and sister.
You're such a gentle and kind guy and it's so hard to find someone like you in these days." I say in a breathe while his eyes where looking at me in a very active way.
"I'm so sorry for bringing him in the conversation. Sometimes I should shut my mouth." I say and then he shakes his head making moving also his dark brown and soft hair.
"Don't be sorry about. I told you that I was going to let you know me to full 360°." he says leaning back closer to me.
"And thank you for the sweet words. I kinda needed them. Now tell me about yourself.. Do you have any siblings?" he asks curious and then sliding his hand away from my touch and then take mine into his and start to play with my fingers.

"Yes I have an older sister. She is an year older than me. There is not much to say about me honestly." I say rising my shoulders and feeling a bit naked in front of his curious eyes and then me trying to let him know more about me.
"Oh I reject that." he says and then I lift my eyes on him immensely.
His forehead furrows with his eyebrows and his lips opens.
"What?" he asks weirded out about my reaction.
"Fault in our stars." I say smiling at him.

Hero's Pov

Fault in our stars? What is she saying?
She still looks at me as a kid that just opened his Christmas gift and she received what she asked for, from Santa.
"What?" I ask confused but excited at the same time. She seems so happy and thinking that I'm the one that made her feel like that makes me so freaking happy.
"That's a phrase from 'Fault in our stars.'" says and I still don't get it.
"I'm so sorry but I don't know what are you talking about." I say taking my hand off from hers while the waitress places our plates in front of us. I'm feeling so stupid cause her secure state on me.
What she's talking about?
"Hero, don't tell me that you never saw that movie." she says looking at me so disappointed.
I love when we have our little arguments about movies.
I shake my head.
"What the hell Hero! I can't believe it! Mercy never made you watch it? What a shame." she says taking her fork and dip it on the 'ravioli ' that she ordered.
Of course is a movie. She talks only about movies, tv series or books.
"We're basically in a scene of that movie, even the restaurant looks so much alike of the movie one ." she says while I taste the 'tagliatelle al ragù'. I keep a moan. We both love Italian food.
"They also went in a date or.." I try to ask but she immediate nods with her mouth full.
"Yeah they do. The cutest scene ever." she says so appassionate about.
"So the date went well in the movie?" I ask. She seems to think about it and then her cheek blush.
"Yeah, it ends well." she says shy while her checks blush.
Wait, why that reaction? What really happens in that film?
