This morning I woke up thanks to some kisses on my neck and was the best feeling ever. Before reach the mall, Hero wanted to stop at Starbucks and make me have breakfast and grab a coffee. Like he uses to say: "Breakfast is the most important meal."
When we finally get to the mall, I'm breathtaken. This isn't a normal mall. This is freaking Harrods!! This place is freaking huge from the outside, I don't want to think about how many stores are in there. Hero takes my hand and drags me inside. Gosh, this place is so crowded that you can hardly fall and touch the ground. "Alright, so, what you was thinking to buy?" he asks stopping in front of the map of the bulging where specifies which brand is on every store. "I think, I'll buy something from the Harrods store for my cousins and parents." I say while he looks at me so intensely. "For my sister I'll opt some jewellery... Oh, you have to help me with Scar's gift." I say. "Alright, let's go to the jewellery section." he says taking my hand and take me to the escalators. I look up, staring at the ceilings. So many colors are on the walls, especially the light green and the gold. These are Egyptian paintings. "Wow it seems more being in a museum than a mall." I say and he smiles playing with my fingers. "Yeah, you're right." he says.
We get to the jewellery stores and I quite immediately spot the perfect gift for my sister. "I think I'm going to get this to Katherine" I said pointing the Pandora bracelet when she can so many charms. "She's used to travel a lot she likes to collect things so she can add charms every time she visit a place." I explain to Hero. "Beautiful idea!" he says smiling at me. "So now... Scar." I say and he points me some earrings. They're perfect for her. "Or this." he says pointing me a necklace with the Aquarius sign. "Is she Aquarius?" I ask him and he nods still looking at it. "Is she into astrology and the sign things?" I ask. He curls his lips I a really cute way. He use to do this every time that he is thinking about something. "Not really but is cute." he says. I see how his eyes are looking through the window. "Something tells me that you're the one that is into signs." I say. "Yes a bit, it's my mind fault. She's obsessed." he says giggling. I always love when when he talks about his mom. He does it with a special sparkle on his eyes. "Which sign are you?" I ask. "Scorpio... you're Leo, isn't it?" he asks and I nod impressed. This guy is a continue surprise. "Alright, now is Nathan's turn." I say and he stops. "Nathan? Are you going to buy him a gift?" he asks annoyed. "Of course" I say entering in a sports clothing store. "He still my only friend." I remember him. "That's a lie. You also have me and Scar." he says hugging me from behind. "I know but like I'm going to buy you two a gift I'm also going to buy him a gift." I say. " I don't want a gift." he says and then I turn around. He is serious. "Why?" I ask. Please don't tell me that he isn't a Christmas person. It would be hard to handle. " I don't want you to spend all your money. You just got here." he says. I can't with this guy. He finds a way to get more of me every day. I place my hand on his cheek and I caress it with my thumb. "Don't worry about that, if I couldn't afford to do this, trust me I wouldn't." I say and he nods.
After minutes of searching for the perfect gift for Nath, I see a shirt of a famous baseball player. "He is really into baseball?" Hero asks annoyed while I'm looking at the name on the back of the T-shirt. "Yes, why?" I ask him. "Baseball is so nerdy." he says. "I like baseball, I also played it for a while and in NYC is the national sport, so." I say, making him more annoyed about but I don't like the fact that he is hugging Nath for a sport.
I mean I think that soccer is too overrated an the most simplistic sport ever but not because of that I don't appreciate the hard work, passion and love that he puts on that.
"Alright, take that T-shirt and let's go. I really hope you don't pick the wrong team." he says with a voice tone that clearly let you know that he means the exact opposite. I smile shaking my head while I'm checking Nathan's Instagram. "It's the right team!" I say looking at one of Nathan's photos with a girl watching the match. I also check on his following and he is following the player.
After bought my parents gift it's time for Hero's. "You could by this to Nathan." Hero says pointing a brown pillow with the form of the shit emoji. (💩) I roll my eyes keeping a laugh. "Hero" I say trying to yell at him. "What? Is very cool. Everyone wants it." he says taking it from the shelf. "Is that a kind way to ask me to buy it for you?" I ask mocking him. "Ha ha ha, very funny." he says trying to not show that he liked my joke. "Okay, we have to separate." I say getting my hand off from his and he looks at me upset. "Jo I told you. I don't want-" he starts to say. "And I don't want to hear you again! Let's meet at the entrance!" I say walking away from him and going to grab that golden necklace and it's the Scorpio charm that I saw. Thank you Hero for literally suggesting me what to buy.
Before I get to the entrance I also go back to the shop with the "cool" pillow and I also buy it. Can't wait to him see that.
I get to the entrance and he already waiting for me with new bags on his hands. While I'm walking to him I notice how unfairly handsome he looks. Also when he is on the most crowded places I can't find someone that I can compare to his beauty.
While we're sliding through people, I look at our hands holding each other. I always asked myself how was to have a boyfriend with who you can go to do shopping with. Always when I was at the mall in Perth, with my sister, I kept staring at the couples holding hands and now that I can taste how it feels, I'm completely in love with it.
