Josephine's Pov
My alarm goes on so after put it down, I mumble something incomprehensible and I walk to the kitchen where I have my cereals and I reply to my daily messages from my family members.
I take a shower without getting wet my hair because I can't use the hairdryer.
I put on the white skinny jeans and a light brown baggy sweater and because is still raining I decide to put my Nikes.
I look at his bedroom door and then I remember thy I didn't gave a copy of the keys to him.
So I take a piece of paper and I wrote it down two lines saying: 'Good morning, I just remembered that I didn't gave you your copy of keys last night so here is it!'
After, I leave the message near to the keys that I placed on the kitchen counter. I take the umbrella and then I step outside.
When I get to the office, I spend an half an hour just looking outside the huge glass wall and look at the raindrops smash on the glass.
'Maybe he was right, I had a prejudice on him. He is not that bad but I still have to test his tidyness.' It's kinda nice to know that there is someone else at home.
I was so scared that I could miss my loneliness but from when he stepped inside, I felt something new that I didn't felt from when I'm here.
"So, Hero told me that you two had a great start." Scarlett walks in my office scarring me.
"Shit." I say placing a hand on my chest.
"So?" she says sitting on my desk.
"Yeah, I mean it's only the beginning. I think also the wine helped." I say.
"God, admit that. He is not that bad as you thought." she says rolling her eyes.
"Scarlett, we barely know each other but if you want hear it, here it is: he it's not that bad." I say and a big smile takes place on her lips.
My phone buzzes multiple times on my desk.
I look at Scarlett and I see she's looking with her corner of her eye.
Hero: Good morning!
Hero: Thank you for the keys!
See you tonight and don't
make nothing for dinner,
I'll bring something.
"Wow we started to give each other a good morning huh?" she says and I roll my eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes, we both know that one day you two will end up to kiss each other." she says and then I turn in her way so surprised.
'She said kiss?'
My cheeks are on fire only to the thought of that.
"Bullshit. He isn't my type." I say acting uninterested.
"That a bullshit. Huge like the entire England. How a guy like him can't be a someone's type?" she asks rhetorically.
"He is so handsome that he could be on a magazine cover, he is kind, friendly, he doesn't do drugs, he is an amazing cook.." she starts to say.
She is right about the magazine cover. He could be a model.
But for the others... I have to discover more of him.
"God! How many qualities!" I say and she looks at me madly.
"Girl, now you have to tell me how is your type." she says crossing her arms on her chest.
"Surely not him. He is too confident for me." I say.
"And being confident is a bad thing?" she asks furrowing my forehead.
"No no! But when is too much that brings you to me arrogant sometimes." I say.
"Arrogant? Hero? Never. Maybe it seemed to be to you because he uses some phrases to tickle you." she says pulling her hair back.
'Wow she is so sure about what's she's saying huh?'
"Scarlett." I say and she turns in my way mumbling a "What?".
"Are you sure that you're not in love with him?" I ask and she risks to chick herself with her own saliva.
"What!? No! He is a brother to me it's not gonna happen and I'm dating someone." she says.
After a long chatting with her I realise that I didn't worked that much so when I get home I work a bit more.
Hero's Pov
It feels so good be able to say to your parents that you're going to your own apartment, of course isn't my own but I feel so independent finally. My sister left the house last year and she is younger than me.
I take my and Josephine's dinner and go to take the underground. I have the car but I think the underground is more easier to get to work.
This morning Josephine replied to my messages with just an 'Okay.'
Last night it was fun. Maybe it was the alcohol to make her even more funnier.
I like her character. I like that every time that I mock her she has an answer to it. I never found a girl that knew how to keep up with me.
Scarlett told me that she thinks I'm a bit rude to her but it's just how I make jokes.
I'm not the guy that she thinks I am.
I was a bit rude after the save because my heart was racing so fucking fast and when I was running to pull her back I was so sure that I was going to fail and see her crush in front of my eyes.
She also isn't the girl that I thought.
I thought that she was the umpteenth daddy's daughter that goes to spend all his money but when I met her at her apartment and Scarlett told thy she just moved from Australia I understand that she wasn't what I thought.
When I finally open the door with my new keys for the first time I feel so good.
I look straight and I see Josephine's golden hair placed on the arm of the couch.
She didn't move so I guess she's sleeping with her laptop on her lap and a book on the keyboard.
I slowly close the door and then I walk around to the couch.
I'm not gonna lie. She's stunning. I have never saw a girl like her.
I smile looking at her open lips and her relaxed face expression.
She must be so tired to fall asleep like this.
She also has her particular glasses that has an transparent frame. I never saw someone wearing that type of glasses. She look even cuter when she wears them.
I take the laptop and I place it on the coffee table and after I do the same with the book.
She is such an hard worker.
