Chapter 44

Hearing a knock at the door, I quickly open my eyes, the instant light capturing and blinding them. I hiss and cover some of the brightness with my left arm and look over at my clock that stood on my nightstand.

Shit. I overslept again.

I think along with mentally slapping myself. I began to get frusturated hurrying along and trying to find something to wear for therapy. The mirror that stood adjacent to me, scared the living shit out of me thinking I saw a monster. I rubbed my eyes and squinted not believeing that the thing I thought was a monster was actually me.

Gross.

To make things more frustrating I hear knocks at the door "what ?!?" I shout trying to make them shut up.

"Amy...it's Austin." He chuckled

"Shit, I'm sorry, come in." I say and he shyly opened my room door and popped his head out with a huge smile on his face.

"Hey babe." He said coming over to me and pulling me into a kiss. I tried tippy toeing since I was so short compared to him but it didn't really work. To make it easier for me, he kind of bent down to make it easier for me to kiss him. His soft lips, against mine always made me melt deep inside, and each time I got to kiss him butterflies in my stomach went crazy.

I took in his view and he wore a pair of black colored jeans with black Jordan's and a little bit of grey. To top it all off he wore a grey muscle shirt exposing his muscular arms. He caught me looking at him because right after I looked down. He asked ,"like what you see?" With a mischievous smirk on his face causing my cheeks to turn hot.

"What are you talking about?" I avoided eye contact with him and I felt my body flush hot as if the blushing was spreading all over my body.

"You were checking me out" he smirked looking down at me. His face filled with satisfaction and humor because he knew he was right. He was just waiting for me to admit it so he could probably say something sarcastic or become full of himself since he knew he could make me go crazy by just on what he wore.

"Maybe...maybe not" I said rolling me eyes going over to my closet getting out my crutches. I felt a pair of muscular arms snake around my waist and his face nuzzled into the crook of me neck his hot breathing lingering around my ear sending chills, and tickles all at the same time.

"Don't need to deny it Amy. I know you were, you could see it In your eyes" he began to tease giggling a little. He grabbed over me and grabbed the crutches for me pulling them out. He handed it to me turning me around pulling me into his body. "Soooo? You gonna admit it?" He still asked making me roll my eyes.

"Yes I was checking you out okay? You've gotten muscular since the last time I saw you in a muscle shirt..." I shyly admitted and a smirk grew on his face reading 'victory!' And I chuckled. "You're such a tease" I said playfully giving him a nudge on his chest.

"Come on mami...you know you like it." He winked and lowered his hand intertwining his fingers into mine.

"Whatever" I said getting a jacket and then we both headed out the door of my room, going downstairs and into the driveway. He went to my side and opened the door for me and helping me get inside by picking me up a little. I couldn't help myself but say," wow who knew Mahone was a gentleman" and he gave me a 'are you serious look' making me giggle.

"I'm only a gentleman to this one girl I like... You might know her." He smiled and then shut the door.
I bit my lip thinking that maybe this time. Things would work out for both of us, and finally both of us would be happy for once in so long. my thoughts being interrupted I saw Austin opening the door and then Getting in he turned the ignition on and drove out as we headed towards the doctors.
