Chapter 29

(Austin POV)

"How much longer ?" I ask impatiently becoming more anxious by the minute.

"About 20 minutes were almost there" Zach says still keeping his eyes on the road.

"Yo I'm hungry"

"Rob will you shut up ?" I say

"Well sorry I can't help what my stomach feels." He says scowling as he gets on his phone.

It was nighttime. As the road became empty by the hour indicating people were finally out of work and finally home with their families. I tried distracting myself with my phone, and music, but nothing worked.

"We're here" Zach says as he quietly pulls to the side of the road parking as we quietly get out and make a plan.

"Robert you're on lookout, while Zach, you got my back." I explain

" where's Alex ?" Robert whispers

"I don't know. We'll have to do this one only ourselves this time." Zach replies.

"Alright let's go" I say

"First admit it." Zach says.

"Admit what ?"

"Admit that you love her."

"I don't love her." I say looking to the floor after looking over my gun loading it.

"You do. That's why you came here. Admit it."

"I don't love her. !! Okay !!!!" I become frustrated as I quickly say but finally realizing it myself on why I did come here. He was right.. And I admitted it finally "I'm in love with her."

(Amy's POV)

"They're here" someone comes downstairs with a mask on.

"Alright get ready" Jay says as he gets up.

"What about the girl?" The one with the mask asks.

"Keep her here. I'll be upstairs with Jimmy."

"Alright"

His voice sounded familiar. Way to familiar.

As he walks around opening a cabinet with a key that had lock to it, taking a first-aid kit out he walks over to me as he starts working on my leg.

"You've bled a lot " he says as he looks up at me, making eye contact for not much than a second but I knew where those eyes were from. They reminded me of someone.

"A--Alex ?" I studder looking at him as he stops what he's doing and looks at me.

He takes his mask off and there he was. Austins best friend. More like brother. Working for them. The pigs.

"Wha---get off of me !" I scream not wanting him to help my in any way.

"Shhh" he says as he holds a finger over my mouth.

"Do you wanna live Amy ?" He asks suddenly. I nod In response.

"Yeah well shut up." He says as he works on my leg again.

"Why are you doing this ? You betrayed Austin"

"No I didn't. I'm on your side. Pretending to be on theirs" (the pigs)

"Why ? How'd you know they were behind all of this ?" I ask

"When I met Jay he seemed shady. And I've been in this business longer than Austin, I know how things go down" he explains.

In that moment I understood everything. When I hear a gun shot upstairs I start to panic questioning who fired it, and who got injured by it.
