Marius
Zavian was pale and I was gapping at the wound on his neck. He had removed his bandage after telling me all that had happened to him today. I stared at the bite mark and his face which was beaming brightly for the first time in what felt like a long time.
"She's- She's alive?" He nodded furiously, tears streaming down his face and I frowned. I had thought it to be another hallucination, however more elaborate and detailed than the others I worried he was slipped back into his earlier stages of grief. The bite mark confirmed it. I reached out them, cupping his jaw and brushing away his tears, I touched the mark and he hissed and I whimpered. "I'm sorry!"
"It's alright." He chuckled and sniffed. "Mar," he grabbed my hands. "She's alive."
"Your okay?" He blinked.
"I was shocked....scared at first, I thought maybe I was seeing things... I thought I was being played with or something, I contemplated magic," he shook his head, his eyes glazing over as he looked to the side, "it didn't feel like it..." He laughed again. "Okay, but now, I have to assemble an army, yesterday."
I shook my head and brought him into my chest having felt genuinely worried for him.
"It's done." He sighed and held me. "Your army is in motion." He pulled away and stared at me weirdly and I chuckled. "During your...grief, Linnet and Romola saw to it, along with lord Tudor and Buxton."
"Oh, I didn't know."
"They didn't wish to add worry and stress to your mourning."
"I mourned too long, huh?" He looked down shyly, his cheeks flushed and I touched his crossed knee.
"You were made to believe your sister is dead... Nobody can blame you for taking it so hard when you two loved each other so much."
He grinned. "You should have seen her, Marius... She was attached to Benton, it was creepy." I chuckled and pushed him down onto the bed and settled myself on top of him. I rested my weight on him, knowing it crushed him but also he had never complained and I enjoyed having him beneath me like this.
"You should attach yourself to me now." He laughed, his scent was fresh, warm and happy, not a trace of worry of anger or grief. I purred deep in my chest then and my instincts screamed at me then and I gave in.
I sat up staring down at him, I took my shirt off and he gave pause, staring up at me his eyes glazed over. I began unbuttoning his shirt and he glances down at my fingers before looking up at me. I held his stare then and bent down to kiss his lips. He surrendered, his body sagging into the mattress and his hands reaching up onto my shoulders.
I shivered under his touch and pushed his shirt off his chest, my palm flat against his chest, he sat up so his hands could slide out the sleeves. I wrapped my arms around his shoulder and his wrapped around my waist.
"I love you." He panted staring at my lips and I felt my heart give a harsh flop, I groaned at the gravity of his words for me.
"Forever." I pushed him down and pressed our chest against each other. He moaned into my mouth and I swallowed his sounds, our tongues clashed and a vibration spread through my body, his hands kneaded my skin everywhere they touched and I felt a tightening in my pants then and pulled away from him. "Can I?" I looked down and he followed my gaze. His cheeks turned pink and he gave a shy smile before chuckling.
