Frozen.
That's what time had felt like for Azar.
She didn't know how long it was, nor did she care, but there she sat in the same exact spot where her husband had disintegrated while staring at the remaining ashes.
"Azar.."
She remained silent, staring blankly at the spot.
"Azar.." The voice called to her again but all she could focus on was the memory that kept replaying itself in her head.
Azar shook her head as fresh tears began to stream down her face. She ran towards him only to reach him as he stumbled and collapsed into ashes.
"No.." She whispered with a choked sob, the pain of her losing the people that she held dear brought her to her knees.
She held onto her chest as she felt a gaping hold of sadness and pain consume her. Two people who she loved so dearly were instantly ripped away from her by Thanos.
She'd never have those girl talks with Artemis again. She'd never watch her get married and settle down with kids of her own. She had lost so many years of not forgiving her sister until recently, and now to lose her forever?.. She could only imagine what Steve felt.
And Bucky, the love of her life.. His death hit her the hardest. They had mapped out their entire future.. They were retired and were ready to have kids. This wasn't supposed to happen to them..
The brunette let out a scream as she broke down, not giving a damn about anyone who witnessed it. Her hands balled into fists as she tried to grasp hold of Bucky's ashes.
Present
"Azar." A hand was placed on her shoulder, causing the brunette to turn and find a red eyed Steve staring at her. "Come on, we can't stay here.." He said, his voice hoarse from crying.
"No." She shrugged his hand off and turned her back to him.
"Azar." He said sternly, his eyes pleading with her.
"You want to leave, then go. Shows how much you care." She replied.
"I lost two people in my life just as much as you did. I care." He fired back. "And I'm not going to leave you here by yourself so you can either come willingly and help us figure this out, or I will have to resort to other measures."
"Screw you, Steve." Azar glared at him.
"I'm sorry but you've left me with no choice." The blonde soldier replied
"What are you talking about--" Azar asked as she turned to face him but was cut off when she was thrown over his shoulder.
"Let me go, Rogers!" She pounded her fists against his back. The force wasn't enough to hurt Steve and Azar really didnt put that much of a fight up against him either.
"Let go!" She screamed. Fresh tears began to slide down her cheeks as she slowly gave up her struggle.
"Please.." She cried softly.
