I fed on something that you didn't serve me.
I thought it was love, I thought you loved me but I guess I was wrong, you just cared for me
It's just that being cared for, for no price is so rare in our time,
Having someone to vent to at 3am always comes at the price of being judged and gossiped about.
You just wanted to see me smile because you can't help but want to see me smile,
You held my hand to keep yours from overheating and it kept mine warm.
You genuinely cared for my well being, because you are human and you understand what it means.
I am sorry for falling for you, I honestly never planned to do so.
In you I know I have a friend for life.
