Chapter 7

Peter's P.O.V

She looks so peaceful when she sleeps. I know I probably sound like a stalker but I don't really care.

I wish I knew what is drawing me to her. I need to do some research but I will do it later and when I have time.

I heard a grown and snapped my head over to where Paige was laying on my bed.

"Paige are you finally up?" I question.

She is probably thinking who is this and where am. I don't blame her I would question where I'm at too.

"Paige?" I say again standing up from my chair and heading toward the bed to see if her eyes are open and low and behold her beautiful hazel eyes are looking into my boring brown.

"I guess so since I can see your hazel eyes," I say.

"Alpha, what happened and where am I?" she asks.

"Please call me Peter and you're in my room."

"Why am I in your room?"

"Well after you passed out I brought you in here since I don't quite have a room for you yet."

"Oh, ok."

"Are you hungry or thirsty?"

As I was waiting for a reply it looked like she was debating on whether or not to tell me yes or no.

"No, I'm fine but..." then her stomach growls.

I chuckle lightly and say, "Sounds to me that you are. Come on let's go and get you something to eat. Can you stand up or do I have to carry you?"

"I can stand," she says while trying to stand on wobbly legs and them she starts to fall. I'm not quick enough to catch her and she hits the ground.

"Maybe I can't stand," she says defeated.

I sigh thankful she is not hurt and say, "That's ok I got you."

I pick her up bridal style and carry her to the kitchen.

I set her down on one of the island chairs and asked her, "What do you want to eat?"

"Umm, I don't know. Fix whatever you want. I don't really care."

"Ok, that wasn't any help but how does pizza sound?"

"That's fine. Thank you Alp... I mean Peter."

Paige was so sweet and innocent, just she seems so, dead inside. I wonder what happened to her to make her like that.
