Chapter 1: A New Life
Narrator POV:
Ahsoka pushed as hard as she could for her child to be born. She had been preparing herself for this day, since the day she found out she was pregnant. She took classes to experience childbirth but those were nothing compared to what she was really experiencing right now.
Until she heard the room fill with a soft cry, then she realized it was her child, her baby girl was finally here. Ahsoka's mother, Shaak Ti, a togruta, was in the room with her daughter. Helping to be any comfort whatsoever. She had been dreaming for this day to come as well as Ahsoka. The assisting nurses placed the baby girl in the young mother's arms.
One look at her and she knew her name.
"My sweet baby," she said to herself.
She closely observed her features right away and knew she was the most adorable ever. The young mother smiled at her baby and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Her vision blurred as tears began forming in her eyes. She fell more in love with her than she already was.
Sadly the precious moment was ruined as the nurses had to take the baby away from her. Ahsoka took one last look at her baby and smiled. The baby's grandmother kissed her too before comforting her own daughter.
