Chapter 22:

Ahsoka POV:

"Welcome to Naboo."

I open my mouth to respond but I stop when I hear a familiar voice yell out. "Padme! Anakin!" I turn to the direction and see the women I suspected it was. Their mother. I had met her a while back when she came and visited Padme on Alderaan. The two rushed over to their mother and wrapped their arms around her.

"Adorable." Rex says while letting out a small laugh. Obi Wan punches him when he sees the three heading our way. "Should we bow?" I hear Rex whisper to Obi Wan. I look at Obi Wan waiting for what he says. "Yeah she's a queen." He looks at me and smirks and I smirk back.

"Its a pleasure t-" She stops when Rex clears his throat and bows. "What are you doing?" Obi Wan ask a smirk tugging at his lips. "We don't do that here." She says and Rex instantly stands up glaring at Obi Wan. I snort and all the attention is turned to me. I look at all of them and then look around. "Ahsoka?" I turn back to face her. "Mrs.Naberrie." I say politely. I look over at Anakin and he has a soft smile on his face. "Oh please dear no need to be formal. My name is Jobal." I nod and smile. "Aayla. It's nice to see you again," She hugs her and smiles. She then turns her attention to Rex and Obi Wan.

"Obi Wan! It's been a long time." He smiles and nods before responding. "It has hasn't it." He responds. "How's Satine?" She ask. His body tenses at the name Satine. I've only heard that name once when Anakin said it at the fair. "She's fine." He instead says and she nods. "Rex. You've grown up. I remember y'all three boys would always run in the house playing around." Rex laughs at this. "Those were the days." He says.

"Well come on kids. Don't want to keep your father waiting would we now?" She says and leads the way inside. The way she said that made me feel like she was meaning all of us were her kids, I don't mind. We all follow her even though I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that doesn't know my way through this huge home. Obi Wan and Rex played in here when they were smaller and Padme and Anakin lived her. Aayla came here with Padme once. So yeah I'm the only one.

Jobal comes to a halt when someone comes and whispers something to her. A frown takes over the smile she had on a couple of seconds ago. What I'm guessing was a handmaid leaves an Jobal turns to face us. "I'm so sorry kids. Your father and I are needed on Coruscant." She walks to us and hugs each of us before turning back around to leave.

"So what now?" Rex asks. Padme sighs and runs one of her hand through her hair. "My plan was for us to have a nice dinner with parents and then just explore. Looks like that's not happening now," She mumbles the last part. Another reason Padme doesn't involve herself with politics is because she says that it takes up to much time. You might just want some time to relax but before you know it your back at the office. She loves spending time with herself and feeling good about herself. So being involved with politcis probably isn't a good choice for her. She has though made many friends of the senators from other planets.

"My lady, there's a visitor here to see Mrs. Naberrie. I have told her already that she has left to Coruscant but she won't take no for an answer." We all turn our attention to the sudden voice. She looks nervous with all the attention turned to her. She makes eye contact with me and I give her a smile and she smiles back before turning her attention back to Padme. "Bring her up please." Padme says and she nods leaving the 6 of us alone again.

"I wonder who it is," Padme says while turning back to face us. The door opens and we all turn to look at the new figure at the doorway. "M..Mina. Wha-" Before Padme can finish Mina speaks up. "Not very happy to see me Padme." Padme eyes widen then laughs shaking her head. "Ah come here you." Padme spreads her arms open and Mina comes and wraps her arms around Padme. The two stay together for a while until a new voice is heard at the doorway.
