Chapter 18:

Ahsoka POV:

At first I was holding Anakin's wrist leading the way to one of my favorite places. But after a few minitues he had intertwined our fingers and I stopped and looked down at our clasped hands. It felt amazing having to feel his touch again. They fit together perfectly like they were made for each other. I smile and I start walking again. When we're close to the place I turn around to face him. I'm surprised at how close behind he is to me. Our faces are inches apart. It takes everything I have to not look at his lips which would make me want to close the gap between us. I breath in then look at him. Those deep blue eyes we're already watching ever move I had done. Embarrassing.

"Close your eyes." I order he looks at me confused. "Just do it." He sighs and does as I say. I lead him to my secret place. I''ve been going here since we first moved here. I first found the place when I was 16. I used to walk here to get away from everyone. Just time to think and I enjoyed the peace and quite. When I became pregnant I came here less and less because I could barley move. This is my first time I've been here in about 6 months. I never told anyone about this place but when Anakin said he wanted to talk I didn't hesitate. I know I've barely met him but have you ever felt a pull to someone? Like you can't get enough of them. No matter how much time you spent with them, might be hours or days, you just need them with you.

"Snips?" I look up and see Anakin with his eyes closed. Oops. I laugh, "You may open you eyes now." He opens his eyes and then looks down at me and rest both of his hands on my shoulders. "You okay?" I smile, "Always." He scans my face and we stay like this for a while. He let's go and I can't help but feel the need for him to touch my shoulders once again. He clears his throat, "Ahsoka where ar-" He stops when he sees his surroundings. A smile forms on his gorgeous lips. "Wow," he turns back around to look at me, I smirk. He likes it. "Do you like it?" He grins "Like it? I love it snips." He next actions surprise me.

He suddenly grabs my waist pulling me closer to him and then lifts me off the ground. He twirls me around and I squeal in suprisment. After a while he puts me down right in front of him. We look into each other eyes. Our faces inches apart. I didn't realise that we we're getting closer and closer every second. He puts his left arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. I lean into him and rest my head on his chest. I can hear his soft breathing. His rests his head between my montrals. I breathe out in satisfaction when he starts rubbing my lekkus.

He grabs my chin and makes me face him. I look into his eyes and his eyes are staring into my own. I can feel myself blush hard right now. I know my lekku stripes have darkened. But I can't help it. I can't resist this. I know I shouldn't let him in but with him I can't push him away. I get this feeling when I'm around him that makes me want to get closer to him.

I look up to him and he looks down at me. He pulls me in closer and I smile. I rest my forehead on his own. We stand there forehead to forehead. I smile and breathe out. I look up, "You wanted to talk?" He looks up and smiles. "I did." I grab his hand and lead him to the edge of the cliff. I sit and let my legs dangle off the edge. He does the same. At first there just silence but it's comfortable, not awkward.

"How are you?" I look at him and he's looking at the sunset. It's beautiful. That's why I love this place so much. "I'm fine. You?" He turns to look at me and smiles. "I'm fine I guess," And it's not a lie. I'm worried about the future, my past still haunts me. And to make matters worse she came back. Why though? It's not like she wants to be friends and stuff. She's probably still working for them. She made me leave Shili and everything and everyone I loved on Shili. I miss him. I miss them both.
