The Throne Room (Pt.2)

Chapter 36 : Pt.2 :

Ahsoka POV:

Bo-Katan removes her helmet and mumbles something under her breathe before grabbing her pistols to shoot at him.

She runs and shoots at him.

Guess its him. The one she's been looking for.

"Bo-Katan!" I yell out.

He uses the force and force chokes her.

"Can you do that..?" Rex comes to my side, asking. I roll my eyes. Not the time.

Bo-Katan reaches up and grabs her neck.

"Let her go!" I yell at him---whoever he is. This is not a fair fight.

He looks at me with strong yellow eyes.

"And you are?" he ask with a cold tone.

I look over at Bo-Katan, she's still grabbing her neck.

"Let her go and I might just answer your question."

He seems to actually be thinking but then he pushes Bo-Katan back to us and lets her go.

She falls to the ground and sucks in a deep breathe.

Anakin and Obi Wan both attempt to help her up but she swats them away and gets up on her own.

"Who are you?" I ask him.

He's a Zabrak. Red and black patterns on his skin and horns on his head.

Cree and Barriss come to each of his sides.

I try to look behind them to see Mom but they move in my way.

"I believe you told me you were going to tell me who you were."

"I believe you already know who I am." I glance at Cree and Barriss. They have pretty much already their new recruit who I am.

He doesn't say anything so I answer his question.

"Ahsoka. My name is Ahsoka Tano."

Cree whispers something to him and he nods.

"Maul." His voice comes out raspy.

What does he have that Bo-Katan wants back?

"Where is the darksaber?" I look over my shoulder and Bo-Katan stands firm.

"Safe." Maul answers back simply.

"It can never be safe with you." Bo-Katan sneers back.

A darksaber.

"It obviously wasn't safe with you since I took it from you."

Bo-Katan fist clenches.

"How is it being a failure? You failed Madalore and the people but mostly your sister."

Bo-Katan takes a deep breathe and looks away.

"She will get the darksaber back." I tell Maul.

Maul chuckles.

"You must win it in combat. Isn't that right Lady Bo-Katan?"

She nods.

"Then she will fight for it."

Bo-Katan snaps her head in my direction and I nod.

"Deal." Maul answers.

Cree snaps his head to look at him.

"That wasn't the plan!" Cree slowly starts to back away from him with Barriss following behind him. Like I said she would do anything to find her mother.

"Change of plans." Maul answers before using the force to pull Cree to him.

Maul ignites something and a dark blade comes out.

I look over to Bo-Katan and her fist clenches.

That's the darksaber.

Maul is about to stab him but something inside me snaps.

"Wait!" I yell out.

All heads turn to look at me.

"You can't kill him," Anakin looks at me like I'm crazy---maybe I am. "At least not like that. In combat only."

Maul releases him and deactivates the darksaber. Cree hurries back to Barriss.

"Me and you." Maul says to Bo-Katan.

"I'll leave the rest for y'all to decide." Maul says to us.

Maul ignites the lightsaber and gets into fighting position.

"I don't have a weapon." Bo-Katan says.

I unhook Kalen lightsaber and hand it to her.

"Yes, you, do."

Bo-Katan nods before activating it and gets into her fighting position.

I hear lightsaber crash but I turn my attention to Cree and Barriss.

As much as I want to watch we can't.

They both activate their lightsaber.

Cree leans over to Barriss and whispers something to her.

She nods and hits something on her wrists.

I break my attention from them when I hear blasting.

I look up and see droids blasting at us.

"Damn droids."

I turn to look at the others.

"Y'all better have good aiming." I tell them.

"The best." Rex smirks before shooting at one and it falls down.

"Great, hope you don't mind doing this for a while. I might be occupied for a while."

"We got this." Padme answers and Aayla, Obi Wan, and Rex nods.

They starts shooting at the droids knocking them down one by one.

I turn around and see Cree and Barriss.

They haven't moved their just watching my every move.

Barriss hits the com-link on her wrist and I see her lips move.

Two guards come in and they take in the scene: Maul and Bo-Katan in a dual, droids blasting at us, and Cree and Barriss with their lightsabers activated; ready for a fight.

They quickly do what they were called in here for. Which is taking Mom away.

I make eye contact with her and her eyes are filled with fear. They leave the room and I turn my attention back to Cree and Barriss.

I go to grab my main lightsaber when Anakin comes from behind me.

"You might need help."

"Maybe." I answer simply.

"But I don't have another lightsaber." I add.

"That can be solved."

I look over at him and Anakin ignites a blue lightsaber.

"Where did you..?"

"Talk later. We got some asses to kick, right?"

We do.
