Yukiko is a native from the Alola Region. Her parents were friends of Professor Kukui who researched the habitats of Pokemon but when she was six years old, they disappeared and everyone thought they died, but Kukui and Yukiko still have hope they are alive. Yukiko had been in Kukui's care since.

She met Pachi who strayed onto a cruise ship and was cornered by thugs only for Yukiko's parents' pokemon to counter and help Yukiko save Pachi.

After healing Pachi, the pokemon decided to stay with Yukiko and became her first Pokemon for her journey with Luxaray and Persian tagging along. With a Popilio and a Shiny Charmander from Kukui and Gabriel Oak, Yukiko was ready for her first journey.

Over the years Yukiko had quite an adventure with her gym battles, contests, and battling the evil organizations of the world.

Little does she know a new adventure is waiting for her.....
