Present time ~ Betty's POV ~ 8 February 2019 ~ 6:30 AM
I woke up because I suddenly felt weight on my chest. Slowly I open my eyes and blink a few times so I could get used to the bright light that was shining in the room.
I looked at my chest and saw Kaylee snuggling on my chest. She rested her head against mine so I kissed it gently. I stroked her hair and closed my eyes for 20 more minutes.
Then Kaylee woke up and started moving on my chest. "Good morning sweetheart", I said, wrapping my arms around her little body.
"Moning", she mumbled.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked.
She shook her head no in my chest. I carefully removed some hair from her face, "Did you had a bad dream?" She shook her head again.
It worried me a bit, normally she would tell immediately what was wrong. "Kayls what's wrong? You can tell mommy everything"
It took her a while but then she finally told me what was on her mind. "Wanna go home", she whispered.
"Baby we are home, this is the house I grow up in. This is home" She rolled of my chest and turned around so her back was face me.
"Kaylee", I sighed.
"Your home not mine", she pouted. I wrapped my arm around her side and kissed her head.
"Aren't you happy to have a whole family, grandma and grandpa, auntie Vee and Archie?" I asked.
She moved out of my embrace and jumped out of bed. "What are you doing?" I asked confused.
Kaylee didn't answer, she just went to lay on the ground on her stomach. She used to do this when she doesn't get what she wants.
I got out of bed myself and walked over to her. "I guess I'll have to tickle someone", I said innocent.
She quickly turned around and crossed her arms over her belly. "No mommy don't do it!" She yelled and laughed. I tickled her anyway until she was laughing so hard and couldn't handle it anymore.
I picked her up and sat her on my lap, her smiled disappeared when she looked around the room. "Too big, I liked little house with only us", she explained.
"I like the little apartment too but this is so much better there is much more room for all your toys and there are so much people who will love you"
"I'm hungry", she said, changing the topic. "Sure I'll make us some breakfast but only if you put a smile on your face", I said.
She smiled and showed her teeth, I tapped on her nose with my index finger and picked her up to take her downstairs.
"Shall I warm up milk?" I asked as I placed her on the kitchen counter once we were downstairs. "Ya", she answered.
I grabbed a plastic bottle and filled it with milk. Then placed it in the microwave and waited until it was done. After I heard a beep I opened the microwave and grabbed to bottle to hand it over to Kaylee.
It wasn't really warm because she likes it better when it's lukewarm. I picked her up and sat down on the couch with her and together we watched tv.
We suddenly hear footsteps coming down the stairs, I see my mom and dad walking towards us as I turned around. "First night in your own bed, did you slept well?" My mom asked sitting next to me.
"Definitely I forgot how soft my mattress is", I answered.
Kaylee finished her milk and handed the bottle to my mom. "Yummy!" She exclaimed. We all laughed at her funny reaction.
"Are you hungry Betty? Your dad can make pancakes", mom suggested.
"Actually Kevin and I are gonna have breakfast together at pops in a bit and after I go to the South-Side to see Jughead", I explained.
"Are you taking Kaylee?", Dad asked from the kitchen. "No I'm heading straight to his trailer of breakfast and I'm not sure how he's gonna react when he sees I'm back, imagine showing up with his daughter"
"I need to get changed I leave in only 20 minutes", I added. "Baby are you staying with grandma and grandpa today?" I asked Kaylee.
"Yes", she answered, she did looked a little sad but I knew she was in good hands.
"Bye mom and dad. Bye little nugget be a good girl I'll be back in a few hours", I said as I came down the stairs in casual cute clothes.
I gave Kaylee a quick kiss and then left. "KEVVVVV!", I yelled excited as I literally ran towards the booth he was sitting in as I entered pops.
He pulled me in a tight hug, "look at you so grown up", I exclaimed. "And you even more beautiful then you were the last time we had breakfast together", it made me giggle and blush a little.
Pop came to our booth and took our orders. We both ordered pancakes, myself with a vanille milkshake and Kevin with strawberry shake.
"So you're back and Veronica told me you brought someone", Kevin suddenly said. "Spill everything!" He then exclaimed.
I laughed, "Her name's Kaylee and she's two and a half years old"
"Is Jughead the father?"
"Yes Kevin, Jughead and I never broke up and I would never cheat on him", I said.
Pop came to our booth and brought us our food. "Betty did I heard it well, do you have a daughter?" He asked surprised.
"I have", I smiled. "You should bring her the next time she'll get free donuts. Now enjoy your meal", he said and left.
"I will"
"Thanks Pop", both Kevin and I said.
"What does the little princess looks like?", he asked after sipping his milkshake.
"She has light brown hair....she's just so adorable", I replied.
"Bee your face lit up the second you started talking about her", he smiled.
"She just gifs me so much happiness, I hope I can tell Jughead about her", I said but minus cheerful by the last part.
"Betty, you will. Bughead is endgame, you guys are soulmates. He's gonna love Kaylee"
We continued to eat our food and left when we were done.
