So majority wanted Ryou to be in Team RWBY. Which means that he'll be participating in the initiation, but with a twist. Instead of revealing that he is a pilot of the Gundam, Team RWBY and JNPR will get a glimpse of the mobile suit. I have a plan for Ryou to also pilot the Gundam in the same chapter so trust me on this one. I hope I didn't disappoint anyone who voted for Solo team and backup.
