As scorching rays toast and parch the red dirt road
Crack!                                                                                              Morsels of moisture drizzle into evaporation.          Dripping, dribbling perspiration wash my torrid skin          A soaked handkerchief crumpled between slender fingers glad to be sun-kissed                                                        Frowning at the tiring journey ahead as eyes gaze into moving mirage on the horizon                                                    My feet fret and grumble from plodding the hard hot street.
