It gushes from the mountains like a turbulent beast
carving through the rocks and on the trees, it feasts
Billowy waters
Woosh past untamed rapids for
Silvery cascades.
A race over rocky boulders into a foaming pool,
Blazing stars grin and wave at a scene so cool
Waters lucid green
A cold treacherous placid
Vast and bottomless.
It babbles as it swiftly switches from freshness to brackish water.
Into the sea, it raves and ripples, like a homecoming daughter.
