The Light of midday
Gone by so fast
Still warm but the dark grows quickly.
Dusk awakens from a days rest
Fiery Beauty pure and vast
About the horizon
The sun waves goodbye
A sadness so heartwarming
For dusk is now awaken from a days rest
And to a sight so beautiful
You must say goodnight.
