Ripe and Juicy, ready to pick,
Climb the tree or use a stick.
Grab it, wash it, and put it on a plate
It’s Food for all, healthy and sick.
Cut it, fork it, and stick it in.
The juice is running down my chin.
Suck it, slurp it, lick it up.
Not a bit to waste, it’d be a sin.
Bite it, chew it, and swallow it.
Savor and wait for the taste to hit.
Skin to seed is how you eat.
Leave no trace, devour every single bit.

Shades Of Earth [ Book Two Of The Shades Series]
PoetryPoetry is the art of expression. Mother nature is enchanted and exotic but sometimes we forget her, user her, and unappreciate her. These poems are about nature, the earth, and everything that is around us.
