Hawija outskirts, Iraq

We holed up in the new hideout, situated in an abandoned farm just outside the city of Hawija. I can feel myself getting closer to our objective. Yes... this is it...

We had adjusted our loadout. I brought my AK-12 and SVU, along with my trusty PB. Sergey switched out his KSVK for a silenced SVD, alongside his AN-94. Boris grabbed a ballistic shield aside from his AN-94 and pistol. We made sure to attach silencers on all our weapons.

I took out the map from my backpack as we planned our next move. It's the map that I took from the guy in Malmo, and it had a lot of markings showing what is what, in Arabic. Sergey approached.

"Hey, can I take a look at the map again?"

"Sure," I replied.

"Three possible hideouts in one town..."

"No. Two. That guy in Malmo thought he fooled me. The markings on the map says otherwise. These two spots say 'hideout'. One in the west end, one in the east end."

"Good. That's two less spots to think about. What were the other three that he told you about?"

"Weapon stashes and a bomb factory. Not our objectives."

"Huh... We should be careful. Get the wrong one, the other would be alerted."

"Right. We'll get something, that's for sure."

"Village. Five buildings over here, one's a bit separate from the rest. Hmm... too obvious?"

"Alright, how do you want to do this?"

"At least three dozen guys inside the whole village. Split up, thin them from a distance. Sergey, overwatch, you'll have a better shot from over there. Boris, on me."

"You got it," Sergey affirmed.

"Da. Let's go, my friend," Boris remarked

Sergey immediately went off from our scouting position, a distant two-story building with windows overlooking part of the target area, to a different vantage point I pointed where he'll have a better sniping position. Boris and I remained and kept overwatch as they made their way. I took out my SVU silenced sniper rifle.
