"Never have I ever thought
You'll see me the way I see you...
But in your beautiful eyes,
I know that you do..."

[ (Y/N's) POV ]

"Yeah right, stop giving me high hopes, Laura. He probably doesn't even know my name..." I stated, although I could feel my cheeks heating up. I fished out my mobile phone out of my jeans pocket, obviously attempting to avoid eye contact.

"You're always so oblivious. Well, if that's what you say then." Laura sighed. Her eyes suddenly lit up, the excitement was evident in her voice, "Look, he's looking over at you again! Quick, just turn around. Now!"

Laura immediately placed her hand on my shoulder before making me turn around, facing the undeniably attractive blonde boy. I sighed softly, shaking my head as I moved a strand of my hair from my face.

My eyes widened, knowing what Laura said was true. I caught him looking at me. His cheeks turned bright red almost immediately as soon as our eyes met.

Instantly, he raised his hand and waved his hand at me hesitantly. I smiled at him, slowly waving my hand at him. He then smiled and looked away shyly, breaking the eye contact. He then joined in the conversation with his group of friends, probably trying to play it cool.

I never expected him to even look at me, like, who am I? I'm just a normal girl, who daydreams all day and there is nothing interesting about me at all. Wait. What if... What if he wasn't looking at me? What if he was just looking at some pretty girl behind me? Pretty sure that's the truth. What makes you think that he'll even look at me anyway, right? But... But he actually waved his hand at me and even smiled when I returned the gesture. This means that it was me, right?

Alright, take a deep breathe. Exhale. Once again, inhale. Exhale. Okay. Stop all these hopeless daydreams, (Y/N).

Laura spoke up, snapping me out of my trance of thoughts. "I wouldn't even be surprised if you guys end up being together, okay? Trust me, (Y/N). I'm always right." She winked cheekily.

"No, you're not always right. You even bought me the wrong drink yesterday." I said jokingly, although it was clearly a fact.

"Okay, fine. " She raised her hands in defeat, before whispering into my ear, "But I know this time I'm definitely right. I'm pretty sure. Just watch and see."

"Let's go to the cafe, I'm hungry." I whined, attempting to change the subject.

"Woah woah." Laura knew I had changed the subject intentionally. However, she let it go and agreed, probably because she is hungry too.

I played with the straw, keeping my gaze on my Iced Vanilla Latte, while my mind was incapable of stopping myself from thinking of that fairly attractive blonde boy.

For some unknown reasons, I have a tingle of feelings that I couldn't describe whenever I think about that boy. In this moment, I was refraining myself from smiling like an idiot here. I've never experienced this before in my life, and therefore I was uncertain of this feeling. Is this just a small little crush?

All of a sudden, I felt a tap on my shoulder, snapping me out from my own train of thoughts. I turned to look at Laura, giving her a questioning look. She just smiled and shrugged, before gesturing me to look at the front.

There stood the blonde boy with those mesmerising blue eyes, the boy whom I was thinking about just seconds ago, smiling genuinely at me. If I were to be honest, he looks even more good-looking when I'm face to face with him.
