I ran and ran, even after the sea had started, which I could only do thanks to a lot of practice. I'm not sure exactly how, but one day a long time ago I decided that I wanted to walk on water, and I didn't give up until I finally succeeded. But it's good I did because it does come in handy sometimes. I finally stopped after I had run past some giant gate to a what seemed like a giant ice barrier.

I tried to brake through it. "Fire dragon iron fist!" But I failed. I guess it was too strong and thick to brake that easily, but there was no way I'd ever give up, when someone I care about is in danger. So I tried again. Enormous flames surrounding my fist. "Fire dragon king destruction fiiist!!" As my fist slammed into the barrier, it started cracking all over until the entire thing was entirely destroyed.

I then kept running hoping to find Ace sooner rather than later, and luckily I did find him. He was on some kind of pedestal with two other men next to him. All eyes were on me since they expected that the newcomers must've been the one who destroyed the ice barrier. Some simply looked at me with shock, but others with fear.

Although I didn't care about any of them at that moment. I stopped for a moment to get a better idea of what was going on. I only recognized two of the men there; the admiral who came to my family's mansion and the old man, whom Ace said was his captain. I believe his name was Whitebeard.

One of the guys next to Ace, who was wearing round glasses started talking to me. "Lady Phantomhive, if you don't turn back right now, you will be stripped of your title and considered an enemy of the government!"

Ace spoke up right after as well. "(y/n)! Listen to him and go!!"

I smirked. "Oh I think it's already too late for that. The World Government has been looking for a reason to do that for the past 14 years now."

That man with the glasses was shocked by what I said. "What..?"

Ace tried convincing me once more. "No! You still have a chance! Go! Just leave already!!"

I gave Ace a big warm smile. "I promised that if anything like this happened I'd fight for you, didn't I? And I never break a promise. Even if doing so means that I'll lose you forever..."

Ace wasn't sure what to say anymore, but his captain on the other hand had something to say. "Girl! This is a battlefield; you are in the middle of a war right now! No one will come to save you, when you're in trouble, not here!"

I turned to the man known as Whitebeard. "I can see that, old man! You see... This isn't my first war."

"Very well then, but don't come crying to me when you can't handle it!"

Whilst avoiding enemy attacks and moving forward I added. "I will never stand by and watch... When someone needs me... Not again! That's why... I'll get even stronger!" As I said that, my eyes glowed red and an explosion of fire surrounded me immediately defeating all the marines who were trying to attack me.

Everyone were astonished by what I just did. As far as they knew, only Ace could do things like that.

Three giants came at me next. I moved my hands in a certain way. "Ice make impact." And a giant hammer made of ice appeared right above one of their heads and slammed right into him. Then I ran towards the second one, jumped above him, putting my hand down towards him. "Ice make cage." The third one was about to punch me, but I blocked it with my own hand. The giant was surprised by the fact that I was strong enough to do that, but it worked in my favor. Because of it, I managed to catch him off guard, and thus fell the third giant.

That's when I saw a somewhat familiar face being attacked by a man with with a big black sword.

Once during my and Ace's trip from Banaro to Sabaody, Ace pulled out a wanted poster of some guy with a straw hat. "Who's that? Another person you need to take care of?" I asked somewhat sarcastically.

Ace got defensive pretty fast. "Definitely not! He... He's actually my little brother." He said that last part with a proud smile on his face.

I smiled at Ace. "Oh? I guess I'll keep that in mind when I come across him someday."

Right before the guy with a sword managed to slice the young pirate in half I jumped between them and blocked the attack with two swords that appeared in my hands using requip. "Luffy, go!"

Luffy was confused by the fact that a stranger just saved him. "What..?"

"Your Ace's little brother right? And Ace is my friend, which means that you're pretty much family, got it? Now just go!"

The pirate started running again. "Right, thanks!"

That's also when the swordsman in front of me noticed my swords; in my left hand was a black blade and in my left was the only white blade in existence. The sword rumored to have been created by none other than god himself, which I knew was actually the truth. The white blade was every swordsman's dream.

His eyes went wide. "The white blade!"

I got annoyed. "How about you just get out of my way and let me save my friend."

The swordsman smirked. "Maybe instead of that I'll kill you and give that sword of your's a better home."

We fought for a while, but when I turned out to be the winner literally everyone were shocked.

Later on during the war, when I was fighting two of the navy admirals, Kizaru and Aokiji, I was brutaly beaten up. Any normal person would've probably kicked the bucket by then, but there was no way I could do that. Not as long as someone I cared about was in trouble.

So I pushed myself to get up. One of the admirals spoke. "So she's still alive..." I ignored him. I started eating the air, and finally for the first time in my life I entered dragon force. I managed to build up enough power somehow to beat those two.

After that me and Luffy, we somehow managed to free Ace at least until the third admiral Akainu started messing with Ace's head. Then the admiral was going for Ace's little brother. I wanted to go and save him, but I didn't have enough energy left, and because of that Ace payed the price. Ace saved His little brother, but it was at the price of his life. The wound he got from Akainu was fatal. There was no doubt about it.

I was in total shock just like Luffy. Ace was talking to Luffy; Jinbe on the other hand managed to temporarily hold back the horrible admiral who was at fault for this mess we were now in.

Finally when I heard Ace's heartbeat coming to a stop, my body moved on its own. And when I finally understood what I was doing I was running away from Marineford as fast as I could with an almost dead Ace on my back. Luffy was too out of it to even notice what I had done, while Akainu and other marines came right after me. I tried avoiding them as much as I could. At first it was very hard, but when I reached the water, I noticed that all of them stopped.

While I was running I tried talking to Ace. "Ace, please stay with me. Ace? Ace! Ace!!!" I kept trying until I got any kind of response from him.

Finally a very faint sound could be heard. "(y... /n)?"

It was barely audible, but I it was there. "Ace! I need you to hold on just a little longer, okay? I... I... If you can do that for me, I promise that everything will be alright. Just stay with me, please!"

This time there was no reply.

I got scared and tried talking to him again. "Please Ace! You said that you wanted to live, right? I... I... If not for yourself... Th... Then at least do it for all of the people who care about you. Live for them!"

This time he at least tried responding. "Al... Ht... I'... Try..."

Finally, when I felt like we were at a safe distance from Marineford, I made a small ice island kind of thing. I put Ace down. Thank god he was still awake. I shakily spoke with an obviously fake smile on my face. "O... Okay Ace. U... Ummm... I'm going to fix you up now, okay?"

He wasn't able to respond anymore and his eyes were slowly closing. Not to mention his heartbeat was almost nonexistent at this point.

With tears streaming down my face I took one of Ace's hands between both of mine. I started syphoning his pain and his injuries with it. I knew what I was risking, but I didn't care. I just kept going. Even when the pain was unbearable and definitely more than I could take in the state I was, but it didn't matter. I just kept going and going until everything went black...
