The Letter

Sebastian's point of view

My mistress decided to send me on a little quest. She wanted me to take a letter she wrote to a guy named Makarov Dreyar, whom she said I'd find in a small town named Magnolia that resided in Fiore.

Once I made my way to Magnolia I decided to ask around. Surprisingly enough I managed to get an answer from the first person I asked. He said that I would find the man I'm looking for in the Fairy Tail guild hall.

When I entered the said building, I was disgusted but the sight that was in front of me. People drinking, fighting and being all in all idiotic. I sighed. "Why would milady send me here of all places?"

I figured that the fastest way to find this guy was to speak up loud enough that I'd get everyone's attention. "Where can I find Makarov Dreyar?" When I asked the question, the entire place went silent and all eyes were on me. After a few moments of silence one young man in his boxers decided to speak. "Who's asking?"

I decided to introduce myself. "My name is Sebastian Michaelis, and I am here on behalf of my mistress (y/n) (l/n)." As I said that, everyone started being loud and annoying again, and this old man started speaking. "Is that so? What does my dear child want me to do?" It wasn't that hard to understand that that old man was the guy I was looking for, Makarov Dreyar.

I walked towards him, while taking out the letter from mistress, and then I offered it to mr Dreyar. He took it and started reading it.

Makarov's point of view

"Dear Makarov,

The last time I left the guild hall, I said that I was interested in traveling the world, and well starting a new adventure. That's exactly, what I did. I've even made a new friend already. His name is Ace.

Let's just say that things here have been... Interesting since the beginning. I guess I should get to the point. The leading organization here is known as the the World Government and I have MANY reasons to believe that it's corrupted.

For example, they give certain people a free pass, and thus they have the right to hurt, murder and even enslave others.

Secondly, the friend I mentioned earlier... The World Government wants him dead. Why? Mostly it's because of who's blood runs through his veins, his deceased father.

It's hard to explain, but I have a bad feeling about this. The situation is more than awful already, but if nothing isn't done about it and soon, it will get even worse.

I will do whatever I can to make things better, which you've probably already guessed. It's only a matter of time before I'm officially considered a wanted criminal, and when that happens... I won't be able to do it alone anymore.

That's where you come in. In the end, I might need the help of not only our guild, but all of our allies as well, but for now, I'd like for you to let me create our guild's very own pirate crew. Yes, I know that I'm asking for too much, but you know me. I'd never do anything to hurt my family.

If you decide to trust me, then here's a list of the people, I think would be perfect for the crew:
1. Cana Alberona - She's an incredible wizard and I think it's time for her to step out from her father's shadow and shine like the star she is.
2. Natsu Dragneel - That should be self explanatory. If there's a 'cool' mission, it's impossible to keep that hot head away from it.
3. Happy - He'll obviously want to be by his side.
4. Lucy Heartfilia - Not only will she be able to grow stronger and be there for her friends, but it might also help with her writing.
5. Gajeel Redfox - He wouldn't want Natsu to show him up, so there'd honestly be no stopping him either.
6. Gray Fullbuster - Well... He's the exact same as Gajeel.
7. Erza Scarlet - She's one incredibly strong wizard, and it would be very helpful to have her around because of it. Plus she knows how to keep people in line and you can never know when that can come in handy.
8. Juvia Lockser - She'd be more than devastated without Gray. In other words, it shouldn't be a surprise, that she'd do whatever she could to go along with the man she loves. Not to mention her powers will probably be more than useful at sea.
9. Wendy Marvell - At sea it wouldn't be all that possible to go to hospital whenever something happened, and also the fact that we'd be considered criminals with also complicate things. Not to mention she'd be useful to have on a battlefield as well.
10. Mirajane Strauss - She's both kind and incredibly powerful. She'd be an amazing mediator. She has amazing potential, which I know you've definitely already seen, but something is still holding her back, and I think I might just be able to get her to come out of her shell.
11. Carla - She'd want to protect Wendy, which means there'd be no way we could separate her from her friend.
12. Panther Lily - Gajeel would want him to come along and he is strong and responsible and honestly I respect him.
13. Romeo Conbolt - His father wants to protect him, but that's also holding him back a bit. I think he'd be able to grow much more when he'd become apart of this crew.
14. Laxus Dreyar - Yes, he has already managed to win back everyone's trust, but I feel like he hasn't really managed to forgive himself. Maybe something like this would help him to start understanding that everyone accepts him for him and maybe just maybe he'll start believing in himself more and maybe even start having big ambitions again. Although, a little less destructive this time... Hopefully.
15. Levy McGarden - She's a smart girl. She loves trying new things she learns and that might be very useful for a pirate crew. Not to mention she also manages to hold a leash on Gajeel."

I sighed. "You kids are going to be the death of me."

Mirajane came to me with a worried look. "Is everything okay? Is (y/n) in trouble? Can I help somehow?"

Natsu then shouted over the entire guild hall. "I wanna help too!"

Happy. "Me too!"

Gajeel. "If Natsu's going then so am I!"

Gray. "Well I can't let those idiots show me up."

Juvia. "Wherever my love goes, I go!"

Wendy. "Ummm... If there's anything I can do, I'd love to help."

Carla sighed. "If Wendy's going, then so am I..."

Lucy. "Is (y/n) okay?"

Erza. "If (y/n)'s in trouble, then I'm going to go and help her!"

After hearing all of them I burst out laughing. "She sure knows all of us well! You want to know what's going on?"

They all replied in unison. "Yeah!!"

I continued. "In that case... (y/n) is going to get herself in trouble if she hasn't already, and I'm pretty sure there's no talking her out of it. When that happens, she'll need our help. I can't believe I'm saying this... But we're going down with her."

Natsu rebelled. "We won't be going down! I won't let (y/n) or the guild get hurt!"

I sighed. "Natsu... Sometimes that's needed to make a change."

Lucy started questioning me. "Make a change?"

Levi joined in. "What is (y/n) trying to change?"

I thought about what would be the best answer. "I guess you could say that where she went... There are some problems there, and a lot of people are affected, including a friend of hers."

Natsu started rambling again. "Then it's settled! We're going to help (y/n) and her friend no matter what!"

I smiled. "That you are."

They were all bewildered by my response. "That's right! Except... You'll have to be more careful than usual... Because this time you won't just come across a few enemies. If you do this... You will also be wanted by the law..."

Everyone in the guild hall were stunned, even the usually calm and collected Gildarts who's rarely around at all. I continued. "This mission will be one of the hardest there has been. Most probably she'll need all of our help to complete it, but... For now she named 15 of you, who'll go to her aid right away."
