"Daddy," Arabella said quietly, poking at Calum's cheek as he was asleep. it was 3 am in the morning and Calum's three year old daughter, Arabella was having nightmares. Ever since Bella had started to sleep in her bedroom in her bed she's been having these nightmares that have been scaring her. Before, Calum would let Bella sleep with him in bed and would cuddle and have tickle fights till they fell asleep but it was different now for Bella because her daddy wasn't next to her to protect her from the monster that would crawl into her sleeping mind.

Calum just moved a little in his sleep but still didn't hear the little girl. Arabella continued to tap Calum until he groaned softly and opened his eyes slightly to see what was going on. He rubbed them a little before opening them wider to see his little girl.

"Hey, whats wrong?" He asked, picking her up and laying her on top of his tummy. When Bella barely born and she would cry, Calum would just place her on his tummy while playing soft music or humming to her and she would immdently fall asleep or stop crying.

Bella crawled a little closer to her father's ear and whispered, "I had a nightmare."

He frowned and kissed her forehead. "Awe I'm sorry, Princess, if you want you can lay with me the rest of the night." Arabella's mom didn't want her in the first place. But Calum said he would take care of the her when she was born. Calum had dated his ex girlfriend, Lana, for 4 years. Calum was blinded by how much he loved her not knowing she was a bad influence in his life. His best friends would keep telling him how she was bad but he wouldn't listen until the trapdoors finally opened and made him fall.

Once Arabella was born, Lana would once in a while visit her daughter. Lana did change but Calum knew they wouldn't work ever again even if he wanted his daughter to have the most normal life possible.

Bella nodded and closed her eyes as she held tight to Calum, feeling sleepy already as her tiny body relaxed in her fathers arms. Calum's large hand rested on her tiny back, rubbing small circles before they both fell asleep, together just like that.

The next morning, Calum woke up at 9 am, Bella still clutched onto him. He sat up in bed and she started to wake up, yawning slightly her as hands came up to her eyes to rub them open. Once she opened her big brown eyes (which she got from him) she smiled up at her dad before hugging him.

"Good morning, daddy." Her sleepy voice said before she gave his cheek a quick kiss. Arabella pulled away and fell on the empty side of the bed stretching her tiny body out even though she was still small and her hands could barley reach the pillow.

"Morning, Princess. I'm getting hungry, let's go make breakfast." He said while tickling one of her feet. His daughter jumped right up and ran down the hallway in her little underwear covered in flowers and a little pajama top.

"Don't fall!"

"I won't!"
