"Why are you following me like a fucking puppy?" I asked the brunette, who seemed to be trailing my movements. My tone was brash and uninviting.
Brandy rolled her eyes, shifting her bag higher up her shoulder, "Because you're conceited and you think the world revolves around you and your decisions when, in fact, I am not following you, but simply going in the same direction."
I groaned in annoyance, shaking my head at the ground, "Why do you talk so much?"
"They say silence is deadly." I could just imagine her expression. Raised eyebrow, smug.
"Isn't that a good thing?" I replied in mocking tone, rolling my eyes with a deep scowl embedded in my expression.
She scoffed, scuffing her shoe into the ground as she walked, "Not when I've got things to get done."
I rolled my eyes yet again - as I always seemed to do when she was around -, continuing on my path with my music humming through the one earphone in my ear. It wasn't long before I noticed she was still behind me.
"I swear you're following me."
Brandy shrugged, clicking her tongue, "Okay."
I raised an unimpressed eyebrow at her, "So that's the time you chose not to speak?"
She looked away for a second, laughing to herself before turning back and grinning at me, "Yep."
I shook my head, keeping focus on the ground ahead of me - thoughts silent for once. When I reached the gym, I noticed she still hadn't left.
"This is definitely stalking," I mumbled, just loud enough for her to hear.
The girl rolled her eyes, an endearing smile casting on her lips, "Sure, Christian," She pulled her earphones out of her bag, pushing open the door and smiling to several of the people already in the gym, much like she already knew them.
I furrowed my eyebrows when the owner of the gym, Heath, smiled affectionately to the girl, wrapping his muscular arms around her in a soft embrace, "Brandy, you really don't have to be here."
She grinned back up to him before leaving the hug, "But I am, so deal with it."
He pulled out the keys to what I assumed was a spare room, handing them to her, "I trust you won't be an asshole?"
She scoffed in a joking manner, flipping her hair over one side of her shoulder with a teasing wink, "Please. Mum's not the crazy one."
He glared at her playfully, poking her shoulder, "Very funny, Lucafont. I have shit to get done, we'll talk after, yeah?"
"Yeah, sure," She breamed in return to him, before putting in her earphones, the keys swinging around a slender pointer finger.
"Christian, hey! Back for the bags?"
