Y/n: Do you have any questions for me?
Jaehee: You kept everything very neat and finished all of the work so I've had no trouble ^^
Jaehee: I just got off the phone and finished confirming the amount of food we'll be needing with the caterers
Y/n: Perfect XD
Jaehee: but... I do have a question
Y/n: Go ahead
Jaehee: Next party, can we invite some more normal people?
Jaehee: I know this is partially my fault, but this guest list is just...
Y/n: It's great, I know lol
Y/n: Nah, I know what you mean
Y/n: I looked it over with Jumin a few months ago and although it looks bad, he predicted that majority of the guests will be able and likely to donate, so it will work out in the end
Jaehee: Well, that is the most important part.
Jaehee: This is me changing the topic, but have you heard the recent news?
Y/n: not really...
Jaehee: Well it seems that the Prime Minister has been removed from office and has been taken in for investigation by the police
Y/n: Whhhhaaaat?? That's crazy
Y/n: What did he do??
Jaehee: A bunch of documents regarding sexual harassment and assault cases have been leaked as well as a video of him with money and a gun while talking about forcing himself on someone
Jaehee: Whoever uploaded the clip beeped out the name so we don't know who he was planning on sexually assaulting
Y/n: He's terrible
Y/n: People like that need to go to hell
Y/n: I hope that the person he was targeting and his previous targets are a little more at peace now
Jaehee: Me too

Jaehee: ??!

A lump weighs heavily in Y/n's throat. Salty tears threaten to explode from her eyes and her reflection in the mirror trembles. She looks terrible. The bruise on her temple has shrunken ever so slightly, but it's color has turned into a dark green against her (s/c) skin. The gash beneath her eye has a long and thick dark scab holding it together, the skin around it discolored and covering a patch of her skin about the size of her palm. Although her busted lip is no longer swollen, small but noticeable patches of flesh are still missing from it. Her finger tips shiver as they brush down the side of her neck. Dark rings still wrap around her throat in the shape of MC's hands. "How long must I suffer before this goes away?"
She moves to take the robes off to examine the rest of her body, but decides against it fairly quickly. Her surgery wound is one thing. The bruises and wounds from when she was kidnapped are another. She can tell how bad it is from how sensitive her body is alone. It might be better not to look.
"You've gotten thinner," a voice mumbles from behind her. Whether it's been from the change in diet, the days she was unconscious and missed her meals, or the stress, Y/n would never know. She can't even bring herself to glare at MC.
"You said that you wanted to do something for me right?" Y/n's voice is flat as she breaks eye contact with her reflection and washes her hands in the sink for the second time.
"Yes."
She cuts off the water. "Then get me make-up and do something about the file under my bed. I stole it from Rika and I don't want to get punished."
"You did what?!"
Y/n doesn't look at the other woman in the bathroom as she dries her hands and chucks the paper towel away. Her hand is pulling open the door to leave in seconds. "I'll be waiting." A sarcastic laugh is threaded in her voice. "For eternal paradise."
