5 Years Later!!!!!!

I went to varsity in Cape town and that was the longest four years of my life. I may have been with my friends but we all agreed on one thing; we missed our parents. This was no different, I felt so alone most of the time. Phone calls were not like face to face interactions, I missed my parents, my brother and my friends. My move was necessary, if Uhuru had Summer then the least I could do for her is to be as far away as possible. These last few years have been interesting;
*Turns out I wasn't seeing things, Seko and Kay were indeed dating. They started when I was in hospital, I guess grief does really bring people together. They have a son now Babalo, he is only 3 years old but he already has my heart. I call him every night and listen to his gibberish and I love every minute of it. Seko and Kay got engaged last year, their wedding is two months from now.
*Lihle and Kevin finally got married but she didn't have a big ceremony, we all went to Zimbali for a weekend and they got married. Two years ago she arrived at my place crying, she had just found out she is pregnant and she was scared she would be a bad mother. She spent a whole month here before Kevin came to fetch her, to say those were just stupid fears would be an understatement because Lihleli loves Alukho. She is such a great mother and I am such an amazing God mother to both my babies.
My journey however wasn't without pain and tears, most nights I hardly slept but it wasn't because of Summer but because I missed my parents. They visited but not as much as I would like they to, but my father believed I needed to be on this journey alone.
*Summer there is nothing to tell, I haven't seen her nor have I seen a photo of her. The last time I saw her was when she was 10 days old and I am okay with that.
PRESENT DAY!!!
Kay"Busi stopping answering your phone while jogging"
Me"Why are you calling me at half 5?"
Kay"Why are you jogging so early?"
Me"I've always jogged this early"
"What do you want Khayakazi?"
She laughed
Kay"You need to have sex, no wonder you are so angry. Six years is too long"
I stopped and laughed, I don't know why they always bring this up.
Me"I don't want to have sex, did you call me to discuss my sex life? "
Kay"You don't have a sex life"
"Someone wants to rent the building"
Me"The whole thing or what?"
Kay"No idea, you however have a meeting with him today. I cannot stress this enough, but we need to start making money from that property. Lihle is already regretting investing"
Me"I will sort it out, just forward me the paper work"
Kay"Did you get my gift?"
She giggled
Me"Stop sending me sex toys"
Kay"Stop not having sex, it's weird"

I hung up and went through my playlist, I decided on Lucy Rose's conversion.
I was actually late for my meeting, traffic was a bitch and this place is all the way in Camps Bay.
Me"Hi, I'm am so sorry"
He offered me a smile
Him"Nice to meet you So Sorry, I'm Harvey"
It took a while for me to get that joke probably because I didn't find it funny.

Harvey"I know who you are"
Now I am not into White men, it's a personal preference really but right now I had no reason why I didn't like White men. Harvey has a chiseled jaw, he is tall like not annoyingly tall but I can carry you to bed tall, he is well built. His ocean blue eyes and black hair just made my knees weak. Yhuu! Abelungu Yesu!.
Me"I have all the details on that file, but my partner said you two already spoke about everything"
Harvey"Can we go somewhere else? The smell of paint is nauseating"

In the car I decided to call Lihle and she didn't pick up. I wanted someone to stop me from following a stranger, so I called Kay and she picked up.
Me"Harvey is taking me to his place"
Lihle"The new tenant?"
Kay"Yea, Harvey Grant"
Me"I called you Lihleli!!"
Kay"Her phone is in my car, we are at Yoga"
Me"Then why are speaking to me?"
Lihle"They are busy with weird positions, we are waiting for the easy things"
I laughed because this didn't shock me.
Me"hahaha I love you both, I will call you tonight"
Lihle"I will be at Kay's place"
Me"Is Kevin still in Pretoria?"
Kay"Yea and she sleeps in my bed, dikwe finish uSeko"
I laughed

Harvey"I love this restaurant, the view is just breathtakingly beautiful"
He said looking at me, I think if I was light skinned my emotions would be all over my face.
Me"I am starving, so you'll have to excuse the amount of food I plan on ordering"
He put his hand on his face and smiled, his eyes were on me every time I looked up from the menu.
Me"Will you be having something to eat?"
He nodded, when the waitress came we both ordered and like I promised I ordered a lot of food. Our drinks came first, he thanked the waitress.
Me"Isn't this suppose to be a business meeting?"
Harvey"No, this was a formality I like meeting the people I go into business with. And I don't usually mix business with pleasure, now I am just conflicted"
Me"What pleasure?"
He smiled
Harvey"I want to get to know you, I am not sure what my intentions are but I want whatever to be with you"
"So I will rent out the space as agreed, but on the business side of things I would prefer to deal with your partner"
Me"What if I'm not interested in you"
Harvey"Well, I'm also on the fence when it comes to you but at the end of this date I will kiss you. If you allow me, then I will wait for the fireworks "
Me"Fireworks? Really? "
Harvey"Well the heart wants what it wants"
Me"And it wants fireworks?"
He smiled at me, it was hard not to relax with him because he didn't push me.
Me"I've never dated a White guy"
Harvey"We have that in common and I can tell you this, a lot of people I know won't be happy but if we work out then your family can adopt me"
I laughed at him
Me"Well, I highly doubt adopting a grown ass man is legal but I know my mother will smother you if your family disowned you"
Harvey"Then it's sorted, you are now my girlfriend"
"Should I start calling you babe or is it too soon?"
I smiled at him
