A couple years went by, he wasn't in school, he answered my texts a few times but he always seemed to have to go after about 3 minutes of talking. I really wanted to know what was going on. It made me want to cry, because I wasn't able to talk to the person I loved.

A few more years passed, I realized I was 20 years old. I couldn't believe I hadn't seen Cody for five years. But that's when I received a text at 11:09 p.m.

"Hey Carly I've been so busy with everything and life itself, I'm really sorry."

I had my own place already, lived by myself in a cheap house, had a part time job, went to college a couple days a week. I felt lonely at times with nobody living with me so I'd visit my mom a few times during the week also.

I replied to Cody saying "Omg! I haven't seen you for 5 years Cody where have you been I miss you so much!"

He answered within seconds " Well I went on vacation, for like 4 years and came back a few months ago and I've been busy unpacking, but I miss you too! We have to hang!"

"Yes come over right now? I have my own place, finally, 345 Poland Street."

"Okay be there in 15 minutes."

I was nervous to see Cody, I hadn't seen him for a while and I didn't know what to feel although I did still like him and my heart was racing. I had grey sweatpants and a baggy black sweater of his that he used to wear all the time back when we were 15, he had gave it to me on my birthday because he knew I loved it on him.

I sat on the couch watching tv, waiting for him as 15 minutes passed and I heard the doorbell ring and my adrenaline started to rush.
