Me and Cody hugged for a long time. The doctor told us Cody was way better and it seemed like a miracle happened. That's all I wanted. Now I could spend the rest of my life with Cody living happily. The doctor told us we could go home.
I packed Cody's stuff that I brought him, that was in his room. We walked to the door, holding hands happy to healthy again and walked outside.
We walked to the car. Cody wanted to drive but I didn't let him, I got in the drivers seat and started to drive us home. Cody was sitting in the passenger seat.
I came across a stop sign. I stopped as It approached and looked both ways. As I started to drive I looked to the right seeing a big tractor trailer going 60 miles per hour towards my car. I screamed and within seconds I closed my eyes. I braked the car. I slowly opened my eyes, looking to the right, seeing a severely injured person. It was an unbelievable twist.
