"I was so fucking worried you know that?" Ciara gave me a hug as she nagged, I just stayed silent and hugged her back, giving her a small smile.

"Kayla are you okay? And why is Jaemin not here?" Harvey's asked, I sighed and avoided his eyes.

"Can we just go have lunch?" I asked and they both nodded without asking anything.

We sat down on the long table, Ciara on my left, but my right side was empty. We started eating, well... only they did, I just picked on my food.

I felt someone sitting next to me, I looked to my right to see Taeyong.

"Hey" He smiled, I gave a small one back, but it was obviously fake, and I was sure he sensed that, but didn't say anything.

"Hey"

"How are you? Has everything been fine?" He asked, in the softest voice possible, I nodded.

"Yeah, just some family stuff"

The lie spat straight through my teeth. I'm sure I'm not ready to tell them yet.

I heard a 'ding' of my phone. Checking it, it was a text from Mark.

I've been hurt enough Mark, just with that statement.
I know I'm overreacting, but there's a wound in my heart because of that stabbing from those words.
I understand what he meant and implemented on it.
I guess staying away from my potential crushes would be the only reason for DNYL to completely work on me.
