Chaerin and Yeosang stumbled through the hallway, Mingi shutting down all the cameras.

When they finally took a break Chaerin slumped against the wall with her chopped hair raveled between her fingers.

"I cut my hair," she cried, "I was aiming for her fucking arm!!"

Yeosang looked down at his girlfriend who was currently bawling over her hair and not over the fact that her face had a huge gash in it that would probably scar, or the fact that her other hand's wrist was now the size of a softball.

"Chae your-"

"My hair I know," she sobbed, "it's short now!!! I'm going to have to buzz it all-"

"Song Chaerin," he snapped, "your wrist is fucking dead!!!"

Chaerin hiccuped as she looked down at her wrist then began sobbing even more.

"Oh fuck," she sobbed as Yeosang looked down at her in confusion.

"Dear lord Chae," he said as he crouched down and ran his fingers through her hair.

"You'll look bad ass though with short hair," he said, "maybe dye it red or platinum blond?"

Chaerin chuckled before wincing again.

"I look bad ass no matter what," she said, "but we're gonna have to do something about my wrist or it's gonna slow us down."

Yeosang nodded in agreement before grabbing Chaerin's harness that was going around her waist and taking it off of her.

"Put this around your shoulder and let your hand sit in it so you're not tempted to use it," he said while doing just as he said.

Once they had situated the wrist situation, he helped Chaerin back up to her feet and the two continued down the hall.

'Mission, focus on the mission Chaerin,' she thought to herself as the pain started overtaking her senses.

God when was the last time she had a broken bone?

It was when she was seventeen.

She had argued back with a trainer at KQ and had gotten beaten. Of course she had fought back so that had made the injuries worse than they would've been and ended up with a shattered shoulder. To this day she still couldn't move it as well.

Finally they made it to the CEO's room.

"Yeosang work on the right side I got the left," she said as she went to the computer to download files and emails onto the hard drive she had in the harness.

Yeosang looked through files, rates of Government supplement and what was sold. The most disturbing thing to him was that he hadn't ordered any of these. He rarely ordered these.

Who was in charge of the orders?

Shin Hyeok.

He sighed and ingrained the name and fact into his mind before throwing the files into the growing pile in the center of the room.

Soon they had gone through ever file and had made a homemade fire pit in the office.

"Light it up," Chaerin said as she opened the window.

Peeking her head out she looked below. It was the middle of the night, but the city was still awake, the low class people and Secret Police strolling around. They'd need to land somewhere safe.

Walking through the burning building wasn't an option.

"Seonghwa what are our options for exit," she said as she pressed the button, the fiery match in Yeosang's hand growing as he await her answer.

"Window," Seonghwa said, "there's a cleaning ladder further done but you're going to have to be accurate and very fast. Jongho and I are in the basement with the chemicals to break down the foundation. Ready when you are."

Chaerin sighed before looking back up at Yeosang.

"Window," she said, "he said theirs a ladder we are going to have to find a way to land on the escape of."

Yeosang nodded before dropping the match, the stack of papers igniting immediately.

He grabbed Chaerin's waist and hung out of the window, the two hoping the fire wouldn't draw too much attention.

He looked down and sure enough, ten feet below, there was a ladder. He inhaled and jumped, Chaerin pushing off, her broken wrist pressed tightly to her chest.

They landed, Yeosang letting go of Chaerin to allow them to roll and avoid further injury.

Chaerin then grabbed the pulley with her healthy arm and started lowering them down so they could jump onto another roof then find their way down from there.

Once they landed again they found an escape exit from the roof and hid in an alleyway waiting Jongho and Seonghwa.

Chaerin finally let the pain of her wrist sink in, her teeth taking her lip hostage as she tried to distract the pain away from her wrist to her lip.

Soon enough she drew blood from it, letting go as she tasted the metallic liquid on her tongue. This immediately allowed her to release a cry of pain, Yeosang turning around to catch the first tear trail down her face.

"Oh Chaerin," he said before looking at her eyes that were narrowed attempting to ignore the pain of her broken wrist.

He pulled her into a hug, gently avoiding the broken bone. Burrowing her head into his shoulder, she allowed her tears to fall.

It reminded her of the training. The harsh memories and gruesome images that would haunt her.

She didn't even notice that Yeosang had picked her up to get her into the van, the blood from her cheek wound staining his clothes.

They would be a difficult to explain to San.

Broken bones hurt like hell ok

Broken bones hurt like hell ok... especially if they're a frail bone in a small location like the wrist, ankle, waist, or knee. Ok take it from me? I shattered my thumb twice.
