Chaerin and Seonghwa were working around the clock, figuring out the plan to take down the government.
It wasn't like toppling a corrupt hierarchy was on their everyday to-do list.
Yeosang finally had to go back into work along with Wooyoung, and San wanted to go back to his new office to set up. Yunho and Mingi went out to go do god knew what. Jongho stayed at home, Hongjoong going back to his office to spy on Jinhye.
"What if we went in through there and had a bomb of which Mingi could control through a computer," Chaerin said pointing to an entrance on the map.
Seonghwa nodded and glanced at it.
"That could work," he muttered, "but we have to get rid of the labs across the state."
Chaerin nodded.
"Let's go on the twentieth," she said, "a day before people get their assignments."
"Sounds good."
Chaerin glanced at the map.
"What are we going to do about Jinhye," she muttered.
"Hongjoong will have to kill her," Seonghwa said, "either today or tomorrow. He can't wait."
Chaerin nodded.
"Ok then what about Yeosang's attendants," she said, "there's like twelve of them... we can't possibly kill all-"
"We'll have to," he said, "get Jongho to control the guards by having Yeosang promote him, which is happening today. Get to the top and corrupt like them."
Chaerin sighed and let her head fall onto the desk.
"This is insane."
"We're insane Rin," he said, "what's new."
She shook her head.
"I'm scared Hwa."
Seonghwa looked down at the younger girl who was shaking slightly.
He placed his hand on her back, rubbing circles.
"Why?"
"All I can see is all of them dead," she muttered, "like the people I watched and killed back-"
"No," Seonghwa interrupted, "delete that. Ignore it... please?"
"Hwa," she said looking up, "don't think I've noticed you and Hongjoong. Can't you say you're just a lil' scared?"
"I'm always scared Rinnie," he said softly, "that's my secret. I'm always terrified."
Chaerin looked at him.
"I'm scared I'm going to lose someone," she said, her eyes tearing.
"I'm going to lose Mingi and all that I worked for."
"That's natural," Seonghwa said, "and there's nothing you can do. We're rebels. Rebels have fears too. Rebels can die. We aren't immune. But we can protect. And we can work."
Chaerin at that moment started sobbing.
"I'm not afraid to die though," she said, "I'm afraid to lose you... them... this."
"Shhhh."
Seonghwa brought her to his chest, rubbing circles on her back as her hole body shook in fear.
In about a week, their fate would be decided.
And that would be the end of it.
