Jongho and Yunho struggled to keep the officials calm. Jongho was less affected by the task at hand, but Yunho was soft. He was afraid to hurt them.
That was why Jongho was honestly doing the most.
"Yunho," he yelled as another scream was cut short by his gun.
"JUST PULL THE DAMN TRIGGER!"
"I feel bad!"
"THEY ARE GOING TO KILL- sorry- THEY'RE GONNA KILL YOU!"
Jongho patted the office chair that he had knocked over and stabbed another official who had tried to hit him with a stapler.
One had had a gun, but that was quickly taken care of by Jongho, Yunho screaming at the same time as the official like he was the one being attacked.
"I know... but- OH FUCK!"
Yunho slammed the butt of the gun into an official's head who had came at him with a knife.
"Why do they have weapons," Yunho shouted as Jongho knocked an official out.
"They're immensely corrupt," he said throwing the official out the window.
"What did you expect, happiness and rainbows?"
"Maybe."
Jongho sighed as he grabbed Yunho's gun and started firing. Yunho on the other hand ducked and covered his head.
When the shots ended he stood, avoiding to make eye contact with the destruction Jongho had just caused.
"Don't you feel guilty," Yunho said as he caught up to the younger boy.
"Of course," he said, "but I'm the long run, if this is gonna free me and others of the shit system, then it's worth it."
Yunho nodded and caught the gun Jongho had tossed him. The two stormed through the hallways until they met Hongjoong and Seonghwa.
"What's the next step," Yunho asked glancing at Hongjoong.
"We find Mingi, Wooyoung, and San," Hongjoong said, Wooyoung and San should be with the rest of Seonghwa's... troops, but Mingi's all alone."
Seonghwa nodded before seeing an enormous blast down at he foyer.
"What the hell was that," he gasped, Hongjoong grabbing his forearm to pull him away from the banister.
"Probably Chaerin or Yeosang, maybe both," he said, "Chaerin has grenades. They're fine."
Jongho and Yunho glanced at each other in concern before looking back to Seonghwa.
"Go down anyways," he said, "me and Joong will go to Mingi, find Wooyoung and San, maybe help Chae and Yeosang in the process."
Yunho nodded before him and Jongho raced off to head downstairs.
Hongjoong grabbed Seonghwa's hand, the elder nodding before racing off back to the room Mingi should be in.
They entered and immediately realized they should've come sooner.
Mingi was being swarmed by two men, thankfully smaller, but it was still two much.
Seonghwa shot both, the two guards collapsing to the ground, Mingi falling as his hand went up to his eye. It was cut, Hongjoong grabbing a bandaid San had forced each of them to carry around.
"You good," Hongjoong asked pulling the now scarred Mingi up, Seonghwa standing by the door in apprehension.
And he was glad.
He spun around and was met with a knife.
He kicked the person away, but it was too late, a gunshot ringing as his hands immediately went to his stomach.
He faintly heard Hongjoong scream and Mingi stumbled out of the room to shoot the attackers, but he was already fading out.
"No, no, no, not now Seonghwa," he thought, "you were going to see through that KQ be torn down. You were supposed to watch the capital burn with Hongjoong and Chaerin."
"Seonghwa no," Hongjoong said, shaking him.
"Get up right now, you're not allowed to die."
Seonghwa was unable to speak, blood filling his mouth as he felt sick. The cut on his stomach and the gunshot wound blended together to create a major tear, and hole, penetrating the major arteries in his stomach.
Hongjoong let out a sob as he grabbed at Seonghwa's hand.
"Seonghwa you ass," he thought, "you're making Hongjoong cry, don't die."
But he knew what was going to happen, Mingi and Hongjoong knew as well.
He opened his mouth, blood pouring out, Hongjoong almost gagging at the sight.
"Pendent," Seonghwa gasped, Hongjoong's hand immediately went to the older's neck, unclipping the pendant necklace that hung.
Hongjoong grasped it in his hand, Seonghwa's hand in the other.
"The ring," Seonghwa thought, "take the ring Joong!"
Seonghwa squeezed Hongjoong's hand weakly, his ring rubbing against the lawyer's fingers.
Seonghwa could barely breath now, his sight almost black, white lines and dots swimming in his vision.
"Hongjoong," Mingi said, "I think he wants you to take the ring too."
Hongjoong glanced at Seonghwa who stared at him with teary eyes.
He slipped the ring off, Seonghwa's symbol that had been hidden underneath it finally showing.
«:»
And with that Seonghwa stopped breathing, Hongjoong slipping the ring on his left hand's ring finger.
"Everyone get out," Chaerin's voice echoed.
"The place will blow in 5 minutes."
Sorry
