Chaerin and Yeosang stumbled into the townhouse, Mingi already barreling down the stairs.
"What happened to her," he said, practically screaming and alerting the others.
Seonghwa and Jongho came in next, Jongho sporting a gash across his arm.
"What the hell happened," Hongjoong said as he stumbled down the stairs in his pajamas.
"Nothing," Chaerin grumbled before promptly collapsing onto the couch.
She let out a whimper of pain while holding her broken wrist close to her chest, tears welling up in her eyes.
Yeosang quickly kneeled next to her and brushed her tangled hair out of her face.
"Where's San," he questioned looking up at Hongjoong and Mingi.
"Don't know daw him last with Wooyoung," Mingi shrugged.
Yeosang let out a small hum before Hongjoong took the initiative to go and get him.
About two minutes later a sleepy San was tumbling down the stairs, gripping onto the railing with Wooyoung stumbling after him.
"What the- you know what I give up on asking," San said before rushing to the cabinet they had put up.
He quickly came back with a newspaper, a stick, a small plank of wood, a towel, and some gauze.
He placed the gauze on Chaerin's cheek wound and pressed it down.
He then grabbed some more gauze and gently wrapped the gauze around the wrist. He then put together the homemade splint and started to put it on.
Chaerin screamed her other hand immediately finding Yeosang's as he had moved to the back of the couch and leaned over it, his other raking his fingers through her hair. Occasionally he would wipe a stray tear.
"Done," San said getting your and holding her arm and looking at it.
"Sorry for the pain..."
Chaerin only nodded, it had just been like her leg back in training. Painful and traumatizing.
"Hey let's get you to your room," Yeosang, acknowledging the fact that Jongho, Wooyoung, and Hongjoong had gone upstairs.
Yunho still was sleeping like a baby.
Mingi and Seonghwa has stayed to watch over Chaerin, bitch feeling a little bit at fault for her pain.
San patted Seonghwa's shoulder before grabbing his stuff and leaving.
"If you don't mind I can sleep in the couch," Seonghwa said looking at Mingi, the boy nodded.
Yeosang took Chaerin's closed eyes and softer breathing as a sign to bring her to her room.
Slipping his arms under her, he lifted her up being careful of her broken wrist. He slowly walked up the stairs as he wasn't the strongest of the people living under the same roof as him.
Finally he kicked Chaerin's slightly open door in to find something he hadn't expected.
Her room was extremely clean, something he hadn't been expecting of her for some reason.
It was very... white. The bed and comforter white, the walls white. The rug was white with black stripes. A gold arched mirror was next to the bed, a desk on an opposite wall. There was a plant in the corner and simplistic wall paintings hung around the room.
He set her sleeping body down on her bed and gently pulled the covers over her.
"Sangie," she whispered making Yeosang pause and look at her barely open eyes.
"Just stay."
"Oh," he said, "I'll sleep on the-"
"On the bed," she cut him off, "just lie down I don't care."
And he did, slipping his shoes off and slid under the covers, his back to Chaerin as he closed his eyes.
Then he felt an arm reach over his body as Chaerin slid behind him, her leg kicking over his.
"I always knew you were a little spoon," she mumbled kissing the back of his head and burrowing her face into his back.
Yeosang held his breath, scared his thumping heart could be heard as he laid on his side falling asleep.
Peace.
He knew none of them went through all they did for nothing.
It would never be for nothing.
