Genral POV

The small group, slipp there way through the freezing streets of Chicago, to the ice rink. They laugh at each other, as the only one able to stay upright is Jay who is used to having to run on the ice. "Erin, you've lost your style" Jay chuckles, at Erins struggle. "I have got a push-chair though" Erin points out, gripping onto the push-chair for dear life. "Lame excuse mum" Hallie smart mouths, sticking her tongue out, right before she falls to the ground like a rock. "Thats called Karma" Erin chuckles, as she stars down at her daughter lying on the street. "Thanks Jay" Hallie thanks, putting emphases on 'Jay' to have a dig at her emused mother. "Thats huge!" Hallie gasps in amazement, seeing the large icerink infront of her. "Its pretty cool" Jay adds, laughing at his unintended joke. "Lets go, lets go" Hallie insits impatiently. "See you Erin" Jay waves before running after Hallie.

Erins/Brookes POV

Watching Hallie and Jay laugh and play around on the ice, has made a smile creep across my face. Jay missed out on alot of milestones, so teaching Hallie to ice-skate is nice to see and Im happy he gets to do it. The twins are happy and snug in there push-chair watching the world go and so am I. Something about watching the busy streets of Chicago made me feel happy and warm inside, it was somthing that you dont get in Tree Hill and if im being honest I miss it. "Hello dear" An old lady smiles, taking a seat next to me on the bench. "Hi, how are you?" I smile, being friendly. "Im good dear, isn't it cold. You watching someone or just enjoying watching the smily faces?" The old lady asks making small talk. "Yes, its freezing. My daughter and her dad are on there, I got stuck with the boys" I reply, pointing towards there push-chair. "Oo, they are adorable. I seen you all before- you are a beautiful family" The old lady complements, making me gush but also uncomfortable. "Oh, thanks. We arent together though, just in town visiting" I point out, not wanting to lie about Jay and I being a thing. "Oh right, thats a shame" The old lady says, to which I just smile- not quite sure what to say. "MOM, LOOK! IM SKATING ON MY OWN!" Hallie yells exitedly. "WELL DONE!" I shout back, laughing at how enthusiasm Hallie can be. "Definitely got the Halstead jeans" Jay boasts, skating up so he's besides Hallie- leaning against the side of the rink. "Ye ye, whatever" I chuckle, rolling my eyes at Jays big ego. "Lets go get hot chocolate, its freezing sitting here" I suggest, freezing to death after sitting for an hour in sub zero temperatures. "Sounds good to me" Jay answers, taking his skates off. "Same" Hallie adds. Five minutes later we were off to the local cafe to warm up.
