Chapter 12

I like him

*Jacob's POV*

I've decided to find a job through online today, I put my laptop on the desk and start browsing.

It's just me and Rosie in the house cuz Nikolai went with Mrs. Hail to the mall, and Elijah is at work.

Nikolai's been acting weird lately, he didn't talk much and stayed silent when we're both in the room.

I sigh hoping I can ask what could be his problem.

I'm worried though, I mean I don't want to see him sad and I want to make him happy, I guess I'm
not.

I first met Elijah 5 years ago at that time, he was at the library reading some books.

I saw him everyday and I guess I was attracted to him that moment and keep looking at him from a distance.

Suddenly we became friends and I was glad that I was able to look at him now at a closer view.

That's why the other day I asked Elijah to talk to him cuz I can't and it's confusing me.

I wish I can be the one to 
ask and help him solve whatever it is.

Yeah I love Nikolai since we were in our first year, I'm gald I got to be his friend and be with him and I'm contented just being friends with him.

I know I cannot say that I love him, he'll freak out and I know I don't stand a chance.

It's bothering me we were so close before and now he's ignoring me, I love it when he stick close to me, bother me anytime and make me laugh.

I realise I failed to make him smile and I didn't know how to make it up to him.

I badly want to tell him my feelings but I'm afraid that it'll end our friendship just because of my selfish feelings.

But I promise to myself I won't give up on him, I'll stay with him until I make him happy.

I'll continue to understand him and create moments with him, until the right time comes I'll tell him my feelings.

I won't let him go even if he wants me to.

I hope I had a place in his heart too.

Even if his so clumsy, stubborn and acts like a kid, I don't care if he's like that I love him and it makes me want to take care of him more and more.

After finding a job, I've sent my resume through email, I hope they'll accept me for an interview.
I'll just wait for their call.

I got up and head downstairs, I guess I'll go see Rosie maybe she needs help at the counter.

As I got to the counter I saw Mrs. Hail and Nikolai arrived already.

I looked at Nikolai but he didn't say even bother to say hi to me and cling unto me like he always did every time he saw me.

I miss him I missed the old Nikolai.
I want him so bad.
